What would make a good divine messenger/agent/servant for Garagos the Reaver?

In what way have you included the works of the Reavers bloodcultists?
Garagos has some neat spells in Faiths and Avatars. Made any conversions anyone?

-Perhaps, after being abandoned by Gilgeam, Sharrupakk (Sp?) found his way to Garagos. He'd make a fine servant, I'd think.

Shuruppak! Oo
He sure is a little bit more sane than a typical frenzied cleric of Garagos. I'm looking for a bit less power (usuable in my campaignsession this week against a party of 5 level 6 PC's). Though I picture Garagos as a diety that likes to walk the primes, but who would be his running mates? A pair of collossal hellhounds? A huge nightmare?

The fact the clergy is devided in subsects makes it more likely a regional Garagothan troupe could convince Shuruppak of aiding them, causing bloody war to erupt in Unther. Though Shuruppak could prove to be too blunt an instrument for even bloodthirsty Reavers to direct.

-Well, when you said Divine Agent, I figured you meant, you know, something Proxy/Chosen-ish.

More like what a typical bloodbrother or sister would summon.

-Hellhounds sound good, as would be lesser evil extraplanar creatures. There's a monster in the MMII, I think, that would probably fit. Ugh...It was called something like a Battle-Storm, or something like that. I'm not sure of what the CR was or anything, but it was basically a somehow sentient storm of weapons.

The Powers & Pantheons and the Faiths & Pantheons Web Enhancement associate with Garagos wolverines, dire wolves, worgs, aurumvoraxes and weasels (weasels? what the..?). Perhaps you could summon fiendish versions of those.

I was going to suggest a demon, like a marilith, but they might not be getting along since one tried to impersonate him and steal worship.

A fiendish weasel? I happen to have a miniature of a that and of a fiendish wolverine. I dont use minis for the RPG but weasels can be a funny adversary with their 'latch on after a succesful bite' ability.

You've never heard of a Fiendish Weasel?

We have one running our country... :P

You let familiars run for president?

As long as they are Fiendish, they qualify. :P

-Anything with the Fiendish Template would work.

The combat took ages! My players (a sun elf wizard, airgenasi lurk, tiefling beguiler, human warblade and centaur fighter) only saw the grizzled old Garagothan arcane theurge (with a fiendish weasel familiar in his sleeve ) for one round because they were held up by some meneal servants, a Maskarran and a rogue.

Tupac Shakur? As a divine agent of Garagos the Reaver? What? I don't know.. I suppose it could work... maybe.. in an odd sort of way. It would require some work and flavor altering for the Forgotten Realms setting. Perhaps provide him with a politics-minded Dire Weasel as a mount or legal advisor as well..... *ponders*

What? Shuruppak? Ohhhhh... ahem... sorry.. carry on.

-He didn't die after all. He just stumbled through a portal to the Forgotten Realms, went crazy, and began serving Gilgeam.
