This is perhaps my all time favorite D&D reference book! Although, as far as I know, it has never been made available as a PDF for purchase or for free download on the Wizards site. It was one of the last 2e books published and I think they just never got around to digitizing it. Which is a darned shame! It is one that I go back to again and again to reference. It has everything you ever wanted to know about souls, what happens to dead gods and their domains when they die, etc. If you search online you might find a bookstore or an auction site that has a copy for sale somewhere. Highly recommended. The Players Guide to Faerûn has a whole chapter devoted to the realms of the gods as they were in 3.5e, although the planes have changed quite a bit since the Spellplague, but it would be a good place to start for lore. Wolfgang Baur's Expedition to the Demon Web Pits has a lot of information about Lolth's domain, including maps. I doubt it has changed much since 3e. If you can get a hold of any of the old Planescape supplements they can give you a wealth of ideas to mine. |

Unfortunately, neither nobleknight.com nor dragontrove.com have any copies of On Hallowed Ground currently available. 'Tis probably best to try and find a copy on Ebay. |

| #7StiggerDec 02, 2008 1:07:29 | Amazon had almost a dozen copies available a few minutes ago... used, sure, but... ;) |
| #8blackmasqueDec 11, 2008 21:35:35 | Does anybody know if the new Manual of the Planes is going to have information on deity realms like this? |
| #9StiggerDec 12, 2008 13:31:52 | No idea if its been said one way or another, but I'd tend to doubt it. |
| #10quale1Dec 12, 2008 14:05:47 | from the table of contents it seems that of FR gods there will be Arvandor, Tytherion (Zehir and Tiamat), Chernoggar (Bane and Gruumsh), Celestia (Bahamut and Moradin) and Nine Hells (Asmodeus, )this is the only 4e book that looks interesting so far, but only cause Faerie hasn't been described in greater detail, and according to the interview on Planewalker one Shadowfel city is based on Dark City, I like that movie |

I'm sure you know that, though. -I prefer my Plane of Faerie to be a mystery, anyway. |
| #12quale1Dec 12, 2008 15:45:10 | off course, that book is an excellent source for the most part, and Faerie should be mysterious and unpredictable I'd like to see some new takes on the place, other than just homebrew, you can't never have enough lore to fill up our tree-like Ladinion skeleton of the Spiritworld |
| #13lord_karsusDec 12, 2008 16:28:19 | -Figured you knew of it. -My homebrew Faerie is blue and purple, and that's all I've got. |
