Hey,

In the end of the "Trial of Cyric the Mad", in the end trial scene. Kelemvor show the gods the new city of judgement... and they all send encarnations there and aprove the city...    but there's one thing that intrigues me...

When Sune aproaches the city...  she see the kelemvor's magic mirror...  and the book discribes she get scared with what she saw, and she fled the city and dont even enter in it.

So...   what did she saw in his mirror?   Kelemvor's mirror is supposed to show your true self...  so why did she get scared???     Isnt she trully beautyfull?    because I think the only thing in the world could make she get scared like that is to see a flaw in her beauty.

         What do u think?

Hazarding a guess, I would say that Sune was forced to come face-to-face with her greatest character flaw, a fundamental trait that really stands out compared to other good deities - vanity. Sune is a vain goddess, and despite her role as the embodiment of love and passion, she is overly concerned with external surfaces and physical perfection, even though her doctrine does mention that beauty is more than skin deep. The mirror presented her exactly as she was, virtues and flaws alike, and it probably startled Sune to realize that she wasn't as beautiful on the inside as she believed. Taking it a step further, Sune, who is said to be the most beautiful of deities, probably became worried that a) her fellow gods would one day notice what she had perceived in the mirror or b) her fellow gods (at least some of them) already saw her as an arrogant, shallow goddess.

At least, my guess is drawn mostly from the fact that Sune was presented as flighty and self-absorbed in the Avatar Series. Then again, most of the gods presented in those books came out looking pretty awful.

There were rumors and hints that Sune and Hanali had a "special" relationship.
