I say the Dragonfall War should still be held in the 15th century realms, and the fight during the last hundred years could have resulted in actual chromatic and metallic crusades to Damara, Chessenta and Murghom fighting back and forth over particular hordes of strategic importance. The state of the plaguelands might be pivotal in securing artifects or other plaguewrought weapons.

Also, the list of dragonspawn in the MM is applicable to FR. In Tymanther, it is mentioned that the Platinum Cadre is working to convince the Dragonborn that they are the descendants of the Platinum Dragon, Bahamut. It seems that many pieces to the puzzle are falling into place, even if there has not been an official WotC statement regarding the FR and the Dragonfall War.

Eternity seems to run a bit short nowadays, doesn't it. -Ouch. -I would say, though, that it's still going on. After all, Bahamut and Tiamat's activity rose once more in 1,374 DR. The designers purposely did this. I would think they carried it over.

The Church of Bahamut started its powerbase in Damara, when Gareth planted the Tree-Gem. Once that had a foothold Bahamuts influence once again was on the rise. It Tiamat gets to know of its exact location she could start a crusade or dragonflight from Vaasa to destroy the crystal tree. The Cult of the Dragon could also be pivotal in the dragonfall wars if a large score of cells could be asurped by Tiamat. She has to avoid getting to much attention to those cells though, as internal strife in the Cult could prove detrimental. If the Mulhorandi conquest is pushed further the dragonfall wars might get pushed in favor of Bahamut. The ties of the Mulhorandi with gold dragons might strengthen the worship the platinum dragon gets if they manage to secure Unther and reestablish Marduk worship. The dark lady avatar of Tiamat would actively seek allies against the invaders and might convince her resurrected spawn Tchazzar to move against the Mulhorandi Sepatarchs.

As I understand it, the OP is referring to 4th ed. FR. And, as much as I may not like it, Mulhorrand no longer exists.
#11 suin_bahhar_02 Nov 29, 2008 9:08:53	Yeah, but from which date and on is Mulhorandi no more? The history of the dragons of the Mulhorandi empire might still have an influence on the outcome of any stories in the Plaguelands and the returned Imaskari empire.
