What Dragon species and subspecies could live, and could have lived in the Yuirwood? -I don't have my Draconomicon with me at this moment, so, offhand, all I am thinking of is Green Dragons, Forest Wurms, and Mist Dragons. Green Dragons Faerie Dragons Force Dragons Mist Dragons Song Dragons Dragonets Forest Wurms
#2 strife026 Aug 09, 2008 18:27:45	Faerie and Force dragons are also likely candidates for that forest. I would also ask how exact you are on living in the Yuirwood forest. My reasoning for this is because the Yuirwood used to cover most of the land on the Aglarondan peninsula. This would push the borders of the forest right next to or surround the Tannath Mts., Umber Marshes and the coastline which, in turn, would open up new dragon types to this forest area. Although technically these locations are not part of the forest proper, dragons (and especially the coastal dwelling ones) would be attracted and explore the Yuirwood or claim it as part of their domain.
#3 BadCatMan Aug 09, 2008 19:28:42	Going by the Dragons Of Faerun dragon-dex, there's a Song dragon (Meliordianix, at Relkath's Foot). Spellbound lists Faerie dragons in the Yuirwood, as well as dragonets.

The settlement of Relkath's Foot within the Yuirwood is home to an aerie of song dragons who lair in the branches above the royal hall. The matriarch of the aerie is Melordianix (LG female mature adult song dragon sorcerer 8), and the aerie also consists of another mature adult and two young song dragons (UE p109-110). The Yuirwood is also home to green and gold dragons, whom are often encountered there (UE p94, table 7-16). Meanwhile, dragons of other varieties are to be found in greater Aglarond itself, or near its borderlands: Nartheling (male ancient fang dragon) lairs in the mountain peak of Umbergoth (UE p98). Bronze dragons are often encountered in Aglarond's coastal waters (UE p89, Table 7-3). Copper Dragons, Fang Dragons, and Red Dragons are known to lair in the Dragonjaw/Tannath mountains (UE p90; table 7-5) Black Dragons can be found in the Umber Marshes (UE p94, Table 7-15)

Could you give me a little idea of what these different Wyrms did? Like, Cobalt and Hex, specifically.

Although cobalt dragons sometimes live underground, the entrances to their caves are always within wooded areas. They spend a lot of time preparing traps. Green dragons often share the same environment as cobalt dragons, and two dragon kinds view one another as intruders or enemies. Breath Weapon: line of pulsing magnetic energy, force damage, additionally affected creatures are considered bull-rushed.

That was above and beyond! -I particularly like those Twilight Guardians...I can definitely see them in the Yuirwood, "created" when Yuireshanyaar departed into the Sildeyuir, those Dragons staying back to protect the hidden entrances into the Demiplane.
