IIRC, this was originally from LoD-- I gave this out as treasure about a year or so ago in my campaign:

-a small jar of Redflower Leaves (crushed red leaves of a tiny red bog flower native to Cormyr, Sembia, and the Dragon Coast, known for their ability to improve hand-eye coordination) -- [3 doses, power (encounter, within 10 minutes of ingestion), move action, focus attention on one creature, gain a +4 bonus to the attack roll] - 300 gp

Have they even handled drugs in 4e? IM not sure how I would handle that. Maybe do a Con roll with various DCs depending on what is being taken? Maybe a saving throw? Or roll against the players Fortitude or something?

I do think it would be a great idea to work up the drugs and drinks for 4e, im just not sure how to go about it.

En World publishing has put out something regarding alcoholic drinks, might be work checkin out. MIght be able to apply to drugs as well.

Im not sure about the Travelers Dust. That was from the Cale novels wasnt it? I have yet to read those, I know, I know.

I know I read somewhere that some NPC was addicted to Polymorph Potions though I can't remember where and I haven't really looked into these Polymorph Potions though I guess I'll have to because I have a NPC Warforge who is hooked on these and I have to formulate how the Players are going to track him down.  All fun research in encounter buildingWink

For home game... BOVD 3,X may have had somes 'nice' ones.

And stealing from other rpg.. a famous recent Shadowrun adventure is around a new 'Awakened' (magic) drug, you could steal this - AND heck, the whole adventure, spined into fantasy.

For the last part, Abeir Returned if it have jungles, Chult, or even Kara-Tur!
