East end of Triboar Trail?

I have a very specific question about the "Lost Mines of Phandelver" adventure (I wasn´t sure in what sub-forum to post this question, but I guess it have to do more with the geography of the Realms or the english language than with the adventure itself, so I try posting here.)

 

Page 15 states the following rumour:

"Orc raiders have been seen on the east end of Triboar Trail."

 

English is not my first language, so I´m not sure about what this mean. Isn´t the "east end of Triboar Trail" the city of Triboar?

I'm guessing that they're probably referring to the area around Old Owl Well and the nearby Sword Mountains, more than they are to Triboar itself.  The use of the word 'end' there doesn't necessarily have anything to do with finality of the trail, just the Eastern half of it.  Yet another one of those idiosyncricies of the English language I suppose.
