Irennan, heeeere's Ed:   Communications being what they are in the Realms, with caravans bringing news and gossip and inevitable distortions as things get told and retold, most mortals can't be certain of much; they always have to trust (or not trust) retellings from afar. However, the word spreading about the return of Eilistraee and Vhaeraun comes from excited reports of mortal worshippers personally meeting MANIFESTATIONS and AVATARS of the deities; i.e. yes, Vhaeraun and Eilistraee are both "back." Now, as to whether they'll appear face to face with a given mortal in a given location in the Realms, that's a far different matter. The gods in general seem more "distant" post-Sundering, more "heard from" than "personally seen."   And there you have it. #2 Mr_Miscellany Apr 16, 2015 23:24:20	I hope more people will pose questions to Ed about the post-Sundering Realms, by visiting the Candlekeep website.   Absent a new campaign guide for the Realms, Ed appears to be the only source for up to date Realms information.   Once enough questions are asked, we can do our fellow fans a favor and organize Ed's answers into a compilation and post it here and at Candlekeep, so that everyone can have access to I formation on what is going on in the Realms.   Thanks for posting this information, Irennan.

And yes, this shows that if we have any curiosity about the new FR, it is safe to ask Ed. I think that most people hesitate asking Ed about the post-Sundering FR because -with the event being new- the first thought is that basically anything asked about it will be NDA. It turns out that it is not the case: first Halruaa, now Eilistraee and Vhaeraun, while a lot of info remains mysterious, at least we have an update.
