| #1chaosharlequinOct 08, 2008 12:26:24 | Because of this I figured I'd share something. I have some bibliography lists sorts of stuff that I update every once in a while lying around as kind of a "to get/to save" "wish list" for myself and figured I'd share the Eilistraee one. It's both fluff and crunch; some of it is really small blurbs. I tended to just lump an entire series together even if only one book dealt with Eilistrae or follower(s) and sometimes even listed out all the books in the series. If something is "official" or "semi-official" is just my opinion. I'll try to add links and clean this up later. Edit: I don't own all of these, therefore my information is second hand on a lot of this at best (from many sources and from my own "search-fu") and should probably be taken in that light. I'm guessing that Rin has a copy of The Reader's Guide to the Legend of Drizzt and that Eilistraee ain't in it, so I've taken that off the list. I've added in more stuff as well. I've put up a * next to the ones I can get my hands on (except web stuff, to which I've added links) and so confirmed first hand that Eilistraee or her followers are mentioned. I also put in excerpt links, and generally cleaned stuff up. This will also probably be my last posting, as I'm not keen on having my zip plus name sitting in the Wizards database (or lying about my zip plus name). | #3rinonalyrna_fathomlinOct 10, 2008 19:34:00 | Where was Eilistraee mentioned in The Reader's Guide to the Legend of Drizzt? |
| #4davesaundersOct 20, 2008 11:09:21 | I was looking at it in the store. There is a page about all of the drow pantheon so I guess there. |
| #5rinonalyrna_fathomlinOct 20, 2008 11:13:23 | I was looking at it in the store. There is a page about all of the drow pantheon so I guess there. I've double-checked that section of the book, and Eilistraee is not mentioned there at all. That's a bit surprising, because gods who were mentioned in the Reader's Guide such as Kiaransalee, Vhaeraun, and Selvatarm were never (to my knowledge) even mentioned or played any role in the Drizzt novels. I know Eilistraee was at least mentioned in one of the Hunter's Blade novels. |
| #6zananOct 21, 2008 17:41:49 | Well, some books and novel mentioned contain next to no info on Eilistraee though, e.g. the Menzoberranzan box or Drow of the Underdark. |
