| #1GreysonOct 22, 2008 17:39:21 | Hi again, all. The new Forgotten Realms Campaign Guide briefly discusses how, "The fallen kingdom of Cormanthyr (now Myth Drannor) was refounded by Ilsevele Miritar after the eladrin Crusade, led by her father Seiveril Miritar, drove out the elf–demon spawn known as daemonfey in the Year of Lightning Storms (1374 DR)." Was Seiveril Miritar's "eladrin Crusade" a 3rd Edition event in a Forgotten Realms product (adventure, novel, or supplement/accessory)? I was looking for more details on this crusade. If it started in 1374 DR, I thought the crusade might have been a 3E era development, since that date is only two years after the prescribed date of the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting. While I appreciate the new Forgotten Realms Campaign Guide and its Player's Guide companion, it seems hard to beat the 3E Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting for information. It's been tricky for a FR newb like me to piece together this one hundred year gap. Does the A Grand History of the Realms fill-in any blanks? I think I'll go get that tonight (if I can find it). EDIT: I should have searched, first (next time I'll remember). THIS thread answers my above question. |
