#1 splarg Aug 22, 2008 0:11:30	The reason I ask is that I never really liked the re-imagining of his image for 3e, I always sort of thought he looked like some sort of magical pimp. Does he still look like that or has he been redone once more?

I would suspect that this is for effect... and not as a basis for logical discourse. Nobody can have managed to ignore that apart from El, Drizzt and about 50 bad guys... everyone else has died.
#14 serphet Aug 22, 2008 18:29:05	most of old age, or being to magical. I'm not trying to be a drizzt fanboi, but he's not a mage, and not a human so theres nota super good reason he should die. El on the otherhand is beyond old age, and the fact that he is insane now kind of changes things. El may have survived, but not all of him.

He WAS created by Ed Greenwood as the DM styled character for the Realms. and Mr. Greenwood is not quite done with him yet.

Considering he now spends all his time in an old farm, fully retired from the adventuring lifestyle, I'd say he's pretty much like that now.
