Across the Heartlands, folk have heard of Heldran “Nightcloak” Rallyhorn, and most believe he’s a renegade rebellious member of a noble family. That is, after all, what this handsome, charismatic young man claims to be. He says he’s not only noble, but a “true” noble, and he has dedicated himself to rooting out and destroying all “false” nobles. By this, he doesn’t just mean those of common birth who pretend to be noble, but actual nobles of proven heritage whose decadence, cruelties, and arrogance have made nobles hated or despised by many.
I think this one is the best one...
Oh, I don't know about that, I really enjoyed Ondal's Stand, but The Gentle Ghost of Silverymoon stands out for me... if only because it reminds me of Syluné
.I liked the one about the dragon that was distrituting copies of a book that was a trap to draw adventurers into his lair. I love that it unfolds as a mystery and the PC's really don't grasp what's happening until after they've been captured and are trying to escape. Excellent writing, and fabulous dark and deep story hooks. Love it! (now if only I could remember its name.......)
Isn't this a reference to the Dragon Halagaunthogh that turned up in "The Way of Lost Power" in Dungeon 174?
