Jul 20, 2009 11:00:30 I appoligise if this has already been asked somewhere else but I have a little question about Faerun changes.

Anyone maybe made a map of new Faerun? I still have the map of old faerun before the spellplague aka 3.5 edition, but would like to see the new 4.0 map. Normaly I wouldn't bother to much, I would just eliminate the cities that have been taken out but the spellplague made a huge change with destruction of some major cities and changes in entire landscapes. So would be nice if someone maybe saw or has or made the new map of faerun.

EDIT:

Oh, and I noticed something new on the map I never seen before or found in any of the books or magz till now. Orgoth's tower just east of Riatavin and Weldath in Tethyr. My bunch of adventurers is now in Riatavin and I just started the spellplague for them so I am trying to make it as realisticly close to what happened. Someone knows the story behind the tower maybe?

Don't remember which designer said it, but it's official (and seemed to have been a bit of back-peddling, to me).

The city is "mostly ruined', but some folks remain, and they are supposedly rebuilding (IIRC).

For more info, buy the videogame.

As for Orgoth's Tower... I don't have PS open for once, so I can't check if it is new or old ATM... sorry.

-I believe it was Brian James, in one of the threads around here a while ago, explaining some contradictory information between a preview article, and the actual FRCG.

Jul 26, 2009 19:33:15 some of the ddi articles have small region maps. those are nice looking but not as good as the 3e maps i dont think. if they had enough artciels about the whole world you could put those together in theory and have a better map then the one in the FRCG. that doesnt look like that will happen though.
