Please post your requests for a map here, and please post replies. I'll copy all the links to a long list here in the first post. Please help can people out with answering these requests I'll try to help as well, but I know my own list of links is a bit limited. Here is a partial list of all the maps that appear in the “Old Editions Downloads” from WOTC which can be found here. The maps which can be found in these products are: Calimport More than a dozen partial maps of Calimport. Each one of them details a different ward of the city. All come with map keys and a short description of what can be found in each point. Al maps are black and white. Castle Spulzeer: Here we can found the complete floorplans of Castle Spulzeer (located in Amn), and a very good quality (but black and white) map of Amn, with all the cities and important villages (page 26). Cormanthyr, Empire of elves: A complete (colour) map of the fabled city of Myth Drannor and a regional map of the dales region as it was before the fall of Myth Drannor. (they come in pieces, because they were poster maps). Elminster's Ecologies, Appendix I: This one has a very good map of the battle of Bones, near Anauroch, but black and white. Also a undead roses (some kind of necromantic vampiric flower that sap the life of all the nearby living creatures) maze’s plan. In the section about the hill of lost souls we have the floor plans of a Fire Newt cave system, and a medium detailed map of the Pelleor plains (do not confuse with the Pellenor fields, they are not from the Forgotten Realms). ;) Elminster's Ecologies, Appendix II: First of all a regional map of the High Moor region. That’s every thing from the Forest of wyrms (south) to the graypeak mountains (north). This map shows the potential dangerous points called “Fire Marshes” that can be found in the High Moor. The second map is kind of a political map wich shows the different zones of the high moor as they are under control of the different people which inhabit the high moor (it is, the zones of the high moor under control of the orcs, the hobgoblins, the goblins and the human barbarians. The third map shows the zones where the different dragons of the high moor live. This is a very useful map. The fourth map shows the floorplans of a lizardmen king located in the serpent hills. Not very detailed. Fifth map shows the region of the high moor and the serpent hills with some tunnels whick run from the serpent hills to different locations. The sixth map shows a the side section of the “Snake Pit”. The point where the leaders of the snake people of the serpent hill live. Again it is not a very detailed map. For Duty and Deity: This is and adventure book, but has a bad quality map of Azzagrat, the realm in the Abyss of the Demon Prince Graz’zt. (Page 33 of the document). We can find also the map of the city of Samora, also located in one of the three layers that form this abyssal realm. The third map shows an schematic view of the Zrintor, the viper forest, located near Zamora. The fourth map is a b/w drawing of the city of Zelatar, another city of this abyssal realm and the place where Graz’zt lives. The last map shows a very small plan of a cave system where the friend of the merchant is kept. Gold and Glory: We can find a very simple map of the realms (only shows the seas and lakes) with keys that show the places where the different mercenary companies are based. The second map we can find here is a very simple black and white drawing of the easternmost coast of Maztica and Anchorome (the realms equivalent of North America). The third drawing (I would’nt call this a “map”) shows an schematic of the Turnstone Pass battle, where the moonlight men defeated a very superior number of orcs. (see the Mintiper Ballads in the WOTC page for more information). The last drawing shows how the assault of Castle Spulzeer in Amn was performed by the Blue Boar Men. How the miighty are fallen: All the maps found in this product are black and white, but of a very high quality. First we can find a city plan of Yeoman’s Loft, a netherese city where some spelljammers were based. (Black and white but good quality). The second map depicts the southeastern region of Netheryl, where now the desert mouth mountains are. (Maybe can be used as points where old netherese ruins await to be found ). The third map shows the center of one netherese city. The fourth map shows the interior of a manor. The fifth map shows the interior of one house. The sixth map shows the interior of one undead filled castle. Lands of Intrigue: Lands of Intrigue: Maps in this product are black and white, but very dark and blurry, maybe due to the fact that have been scanned. Here we can find complete city maps of Zazzespur, Velen, Myratma, Saradush and Darromar, caption city of Tethyr. All maps are dark and blurry but come with keys. Next map shows the Duchies and counties of Tethyr. It’s kind of a political map, with different colours for the different counties and duchies. The second part of this product speaks abount Amn. Here we can find maps of Riatavin, Grimmor, Eshpurta, Keczulla, Esmeltaran, Murann and Athkatla. We can find also a map of the eastern coast of Maztica (very similar to that found in Gold and Glory). We can find also a map of the Elkazar territories (Shilmista forest, Impresk and Shalane lakes,…..) with city maps of Llorbaukh. The best map of this product is a black and white poster map of the imperial city of Shoonach. At the end of this product we have some colour poster size maps of the sword coast, amn and tethyr. We can find a medium detailed topographical map of Amn, Tethyr and Erlkazar, but that shows up to Cormyr, the Green Fields and the Lake of Dragons. Dungeon Crawl, Undermountain, the lost level. Madgoth’s Castle: A colour map of the lost level of Undermountain (with keys) and the Floorplans of Madgoths castle (with Keys). The Marco Volo Trilogy (Depature, Journey and Arrival): All maps are black and white and very high quality. Marco Volo, Departure: Floorplans of Mother Tathlorn’s House of Pleasure (Main Floor only). A map of the road from Waterdeep to the Way Inn. Map from the Way Inn (the village) and floorplans form the Way Inn (the inn). Two encounter maps (One in Daggerford, one on the road). Marco Volo, Journey: : Very simple map of the western heartlands (only name of cities).Map of the Great Mother’s Abbey near berdusk (an abbey consecrated to Chauntea). A very bad quality (b/w) of Cormyr). Marco Volo, Arrival: A very simple map of the spiderhaunt woods, an encounter map in the spiderhaunt woods and floorplans of the eye fortress (some kind of magical construction). |

| #3zombiegleemaxFeb 23, 2004 6:20:20 | I was wondering if there's any way to get that large map of FR again. One of my players "misplaced it" and I don't know the realms by heart. Please don't link me to an illegal scan though. ![]() |
| #4zombiegleemaxFeb 23, 2004 9:40:18 | I would be very, very happy with a good, detailed map of the North (around the Spine of the World, and not maps from the "Drizzt books" because I already know those by heart...) and a map of Silverymoon and the lands around it. |

| #55zombiegleemaxMar 09, 2004 14:39:09 | I am in need of a map of The Great Rift. Hopefuilly one that shows where in the realms it is. I am in a campaign that was started by another DM two years ago, the only one amongst us who owned the FRCS. We each bought different books to maximize our RP'ing dollar. When the DM left us over personal disputes, I was elected the new DM, and left with a quest to the Great Rift. Our campaign started in waterdeep at LVL1 we are now LVL15-17 and in chult, still trying to find the great rift. Problem is, I have no clue where the great rift is, let alone how to get there. |

| #58zombiegleemaxMar 10, 2004 18:01:02 | Ok, here's my problem, I need a good map of Westgate, the more details I can get the best... And also a map of Zhentil Keep... details details and more details.... All That because one of my PCs is rallying people (he's a fighter 14/ purple dragon knight 5) to an invasion of Zhentil Keep... he has already convinced the rest of the PCs in the party to do this, and they all want to do that... I agreed, since they're already making plans for epic levels... I would like them to survive this quest... but if they don't it would be a glorious death... That's why I need Maps Another PC has acquired the feat of Getting Into Troubles All The Time, he's a psychic Warrior/Soulknife/Monk, he's also 19th level and making plans for epic levels. The Problem is that he's trying to slay at least one of the ruling vampire lords of the Night Masks, it's sort of his personal quest. I would like to see him trying that... and I need more maps... Could someone be so kind to give me links or pics of those two palces??? PLEASE??? |
| #59zombiegleemaxMar 10, 2004 19:31:05 | i just need an entire map of faerun.... but i don't want to buy all those dragons to get it. Doesn't the PGTF include a full color map? |
| #60zombiegleemaxMar 11, 2004 8:51:09 | There are lots of places where the full sized 2nd ed maps of Toril are posted, and a few with the 3rd ed. I can't post any links as these are all breaking copyright. If I was really, really mean I'd tell you your post is asking people to break copyright for you ;) but I realise you didn't know these maps aren't available for free. | #71arravisMar 22, 2004 0:50:36 | Battledale , its capital, more or less. I used the b/w map in Volo's guide to the Dalelands as a basis (available here ofcourse http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/downloads). Anyway, glad you liked it! |
| #72zombiegleemaxMar 26, 2004 17:39:51 | I know it was asked at one point but I couldn't find an answer anywhere in the forum (other than reference to the inside cover of The Sorceror which is only an area map showing where Evereksa is in relation to the High Forest and Anauroch, etc.) I really need a map of Evereska as I have player characters that want to get involved in defending Evereska from the Phaerimm (they are playing in the timeline just as this is occurring) but I need a more detailed map if one exists! Thanks! |

| #74madouleMar 28, 2004 14:47:23 | Big sis, I think it would be a great Idea, if you(WoTC) sold all the BIG foldout maps from all the current 3ed stuff, along with the Super large blow up maps from the dragon mag. (maybye even a large map of the underdark, hint hint hint. The one in the book is so insy ![]() something like what 10 large fold outs, and maybe condensed large fold out maps of the "snipits" found in the books of this place or that, like 2-5 of them... or just a bundle of large maps/foldouts from the 3ed line of dungeon.. it sure beats the heck outa tracking them down... my 2 cents at least.. :D |

| #139friendofreligionJul 18, 2004 4:57:38 | BigSister, are there at least "soon-to-become-canon" coastal outlines available of the Toril continent(s) other than Faerûn? If the globe ot Toril project takes off, it will need some input, and it would be nice if we could, as a community, at least have some idea of the outlines and location of these continents. Faerûn is pretty obviously a northern hemishpere continent and most of us know what to put there in unexplored lands which we might want to develop, but if a Faerûnian Age of Exploration is about to begin (which it should, following the discovery of Maztica), many DMs may want to begin sketching out what they think the other continents hold. It was a big surprise on both sides when Colombus met the Arawaks (and the Caribs!), and Pizarro and Cortez met the Inca and the Mexicans. A Toril with one or more other continents as vast as Faerûn opens up a wide vista for gaming, with much potential OGL contribution. Please guide us to the WOTC chief of exploration and cartography, BigSis, pretty please with molasses on top? |

| #157zombiegleemaxAug 07, 2004 8:34:36 | My understanding is that you can only share material that has already been offered for free. For example if maps are part of free downloads or articles on the WotC site then it's ok to post them. If you still have to pay to own material (like the FR Interactive Atlas) then even if you can't get hold of it to buy you still can't post it. |
| #158zombiegleemaxAug 09, 2004 1:17:09 | mmmhh, theoretically you cannot pay since it's OOP :-) |
| #159zombiegleemaxAug 09, 2004 16:29:28 | A map of Starmantle would be more than welcome ![]() |

| #162zombiegleemaxAug 15, 2004 15:17:30 | I'm looking for a map of the Dark Arrow Keep, the castle where Obould currently has his headquarters in the spine of the world. If there is no map of that castle, then a link to a map of a big castle that has confounding corridors, with good details on the different levels and a underground dungeon would do just fine. |
| #163zombiegleemaxAug 17, 2004 15:06:49 | Can anyone tell me were i can get my hands on an Evereska map on the internet? I would like to see it very detailed, but anything is welcome |
| #164zombiegleemaxAug 18, 2004 6:22:06 | concerning the requests for a map of Evereska; Mankyle said:Download the sample chapter from "The Sorcerer", from the archwizards trilogy. In the first or second page there's an sketch from the city. | #165zombiegleemaxAug 18, 2004 21:15:04 | Looking for a map of Mistledale if you could please. Can't see mto find a decent one. |
| #166mankyleAug 19, 2004 3:54:06 | There are three bad quality maps of mistledale in "Volo's guide to the dalelands". http://www.wizards.com/dnd/files/2/fr_downloads/tsr9524.zip there you will find another b/w map of Ashanbenford. There is one very good in the FR Campaign Sourcebook. If you want maps, probably the best sources are the 1st and 2nd ed books. Try the old editions downloads before asking. http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/dnd/downloads ![]() |

I am believeing it is location in the north western section of the Nether Mountains on the south side of the highway that runs through Sundabar to Ascore, and on into Aunoroch . I believe it is located south of the Arn Forest. This is all from memory and looking at the various maps that are posted on this thread, which btw are AWESOME! ![]() This is my best guess.... Best place for a map of Menzoberranzan is the Menzoberranzan boxed set from 2E. It is about 3' x 5' if I recall correctly and is either 2 or 3 sections. |

| #183deafbymetalSep 29, 2004 17:05:48 | Hi there! One of the best places I know of for maps of castles is at Profantasy - Profantasy Software . They have a bunch for free on the site, and they used to have a free map viewer so you didn't need their software to use them. I'm not sure if they still have it though, it's worth looking into it. I have some of their software and it works fine, you can even export the maps in jpeg format, also in bmp too, I think. Good luck. |

| #198zombiegleemaxDec 02, 2004 13:36:24 | WizO_BigSister, I have scoured the net fairly far and wide for you....and turned up a heaping pile of copyright violations. Also, could you clarify for me what you mean by "...or openly published on the net for free use are not allowed!" You want some maps that are fan created, not scanned from material that is not free AND not openly published on the net for free use? I understand that you have a job to do, but I have to believe that I am misinterpreting what you mean. A lot of these links go to fan created sites with maps that are "openly published on the net for free use" so help an exhausted mind right now. I'm sure once you provide the answer I'll slap myself on the head and say d'oh On a completely unrelated note, what is your avatar? I feel like I've seen that picture before somewhere. |
| #199zombiegleemaxDec 02, 2004 13:39:44 | Also, the http://myth-drannor.net/DlabraddathNet/z-Dlabraddath/Maproom.htm link is broken. I have tried it numerous times to no avail. |

| #205zombiegleemaxDec 20, 2004 6:58:19 | As I'm playing a gnome druid (Mielikke as his Deity) now from the Unicorn Run (South of the Star Mounts, High Forest) and I'm having a bit of a trouble picturing the place, I'd love to see a map or picture of the place (or something similar). There are many maps to be found displaying the High Forest, but not the Unicorn Run in particular. The FR CS book states the following: "Those who venture far upriver say the land becomes broken and fissured, the trees creating tunnels (?) and near-caverns (?), but that the Run cuts through them in slow, wide loops (?) and curves that have carved cliffs and gorges. these are the fabled Sisters, and those who've seen them swear they are the most beautiful place in all Faerun." Any pictures of the Unicorn Run or similar sites that will give me a better impression of how the region looks like are very welcome. Thanks in advance, ~Snowbleach. |
| #206zombiegleemaxDec 21, 2004 12:02:13 | Download the Free Map Viewer from Profantasy, then use it to view the Campaign Mapper map of the north from Candlekeep Map Section (in Alaundo's library). The river on the bottom left that starts in the Star Mountains is the Unicorn run. The zoom allows you to get a good close up view. |
| #207mankyleDec 25, 2004 16:30:43 | For those of you who speak spanish here is, maybe, the best map of all. A PDF of the entire realms (in spanish) which allows an unbelieveable zoom. After talking with BigSys, I changed the link so nobody complains telling this link is illegal. This map comes from the official publishers of DnD in spain. The following link is the publisher's homepage. Devir Spain Homepage (Official Publishers of Dnd in Spain, Portugal and Brazil) You must then click where it reads ROL (Role Playing Games), then Dungeons and Dragons. In the following page go for the left bar, where it read "Libros de Master" (Books for the Dungeon Masters), and then "Reinos Olvidados" (Forgotten Realms). Then comes the complete list of all the forgotten realms products published by Devir in Spain. The first one, where it reads "Escenario de Campaña" (Campaign Setting), is the one we want. After clinking on it, you will find an hypeling just before the price. There are two versions: one in PDF, one in JPG. Hope you enjoy it. |

| #215zombiegleemaxJan 13, 2005 7:48:50 | Hi , I wonder if any of you good people would know where i can get hold of floorplans for a dwarven stronghold. Any help would be greatly appreciated. burning666 |
| #216mankyleJan 13, 2005 10:57:08 | For Burning666 The best options are: Under Illefarn. A 1st edition module set near Daggerford, which has the complete floorplans of an entire Dwarven city (12 maps). You can get it as a pdf for a couple of bucks in many Web pages. (Just Type "Under Illefarn" in Google). Stronghold Builders Book. Has the floorplans of an small size Dwarven Stronghold. One of the best parts of the book IMHO. I have used it IMC to depict an abandoned Dwarven stronghold located under the easternmost peak of the star mounts, in the High forest. Other maps that can be used are those that appear under the description of the Fee'ry in the LOD book. This one has been released: Map of an abandoned Dwarven post. Lords of Darkness Excerpt |

Silverymoon The dungeon below "The Granfather Tree" Hellgate Keep (before its destruction) and a handful of other maps. BTW, BigSys, the link to that document appears to be broken. | #229mankyleFeb 07, 2005 2:10:00 | Here is a partial list of all the maps that appear in the “Old Editions Downloads” from WOTC which can be found here. I'll try to post the rest of the map content of these products ASAP. ![]() |
| #230madrigalminstrelFeb 07, 2005 22:05:49 | Hi, I was wondering if you've got a detailed map of Velprintalar: the City of the Shining Crown, Capital of Aglarond and home of the Simbul. It is the principle setting for a game I am planning, and as it is an urban setting I can't rely on just going "In the woods...". I need a street layout to really aid the game. I am good at doing drama and character development, but architecture and city planning escape me. I'd really appreciate this leg-up. Thanks -P. M. |
| #231zombiegleemaxFeb 09, 2005 10:49:35 | Mankyle you are wonderful I've added your list to the first post. |
| #232mankyleFeb 09, 2005 23:51:39 | No, I'm not. I merely try to help doing what I can. Otherwise, thank you. :D Unfortunately I'll be out for a couple of days for work reasons so unless I find access to a computer, I think I wont be able to send the rest of list until, at least, next wednesday. Hope you find my efforts useful. |
| #233zombiegleemaxFeb 10, 2005 22:34:04 | It would make a lot of sense if it was just published for purchase or electronic download. There are lots of places where the full sized 2nd ed maps of Toril are posted, and a few with the 3rd ed. I can't post any links as these are all breaking copyright. If I was really, really mean I'd tell you your post is asking people to break copyright for you ;) but I realise you didn't know these maps aren't available for free. |

| #235zombiegleemaxFeb 15, 2005 19:36:15 | i just wanted to thank you for these maps. they were a life saver! |
| #236zombiegleemaxFeb 16, 2005 4:51:40 | Just a little question... Where may I find any and/all info concerning the Icewind Dale? |
| #237mankyleFeb 16, 2005 6:09:20 | To Kalis X. There are maps of Ten Towns and the Icewind dale int "The North". Most of the information come from the Icewind Dale Trilogy, so read them carefully. I think (I'm not sure) there were some maps of the Ten Towns in the Forgotten Realms Atlas (By Karen Wynn Fonstadt). Try to find this book if you want information about Icewind Dale. |
| #238zombiegleemaxFeb 16, 2005 6:35:36 | OK, thanks... |
| #239aliira-sunstarFeb 17, 2005 8:39:15 | Can anyone find me a map of Mirabar? |
| #240aluroonFeb 17, 2005 14:47:54 | Heres a stupid question, where I find a large (hopefully page sized alteast) map of Waterdeep, and furthermore where can I find a large (or even small) map of the surrounding area around Waterdeep (say 2-3 days ride out from the city). I've seen most of the maps on the first page, but none seem to fit the first, and theres NOTHING about the second. Aluroon |
| #241mankyleFeb 18, 2005 2:34:29 | There was a very detailed map of Waterdeep in "Volo's Guide to Waterdeep". Unfortunately that was a 2nd edition product and it is not sold anymore. Maybe you can buy in some of these Internet shops that appear in the Forgotten realms general forum. About the other map I can't remember any product with specific maps of that zone. Hope it helps. |
| #242zombiegleemaxFeb 21, 2005 7:25:20 | Could any one find me a map of the Ulcaster school east of Beregost that is NOT Baldur's Gate Related? Or do I have to take out my pen and start drawing? ![]() |
| #243zombiegleemaxFeb 21, 2005 15:17:38 | Or Btw - how about a map of firewine bridge? Still NOT BG related... |
| #244zombiegleemaxFeb 21, 2005 17:18:14 | Looking for a map of Iriaebor primarily. Also of interest would be the general area from the Reaching Woods to the Far Hills from Skull Gorge in the North to the cities lining the south of this area...Scornubel, Berdusk, Iriaebor. I have the FRCS, some smaller maps of Berdusk (from this thread), i'm in the process of grabbing the FRA and Volo's guide to the Sword Coast already... Anyone run/have run a campaign in this area have some home brewed stuff? |
| #245tchazzar_iiFeb 22, 2005 5:29:48 | Greetings, fellow Realms fans. I'm hoping one or more of you might be able to help me. Does anyone know where I might find detailed maps of the major cities in the Old Empires, specifically Chessenta and Unther? More specifically, the cities of Cimbar, Airspur, Soorenar, and Luthcheq in Chessenta? Thanks in advance. |
| #246zombiegleemaxFeb 22, 2005 17:53:11 | Can I pretty, pretty please ask you all to check first couple of posts in this thread BEFORE asking for a map. You'll find a complete list of all the maps posted so far, plus a lot of sites that contain several maps. It does get a bit depressing when people ask for the same maps over and over ... makes us feel that all the work we have done amalgamating the map lists was a waste of time because people just don't read it ![]() Don't look for info on out-of-print material in the FR General forums ... in the FAQ and Information forum there is a thread called Out Of Print ~ Information & Sources Believe it or not this is where to find information about out of print books and where to find them ;) |

It does get a bit depressing when people ask for the same maps over and over ... makes us feel that all the work we have done amalgamating the map lists was a waste of time because people just don't read it Ahem - I don't see a map of Firewine or Ulcaster anywhere, and I've browsed this place a couple of times now, plus I've been looking at different web-pages - Everything that turns up is BG related... |
| #248zombiegleemaxFeb 23, 2005 14:09:00 | That post was a general plea, not aimed at anyone in particular. It was in response to things that have been going on for months - people asking for maps that have already been posted. |
| #249zombiegleemaxFeb 23, 2005 18:53:37 | Hmm... I guess it just seemed like it was aimed at us (me).. sorry, but I'd just really like those maps.... ![]() |

| #251zombiegleemaxFeb 25, 2005 6:21:13 | Thanks anyway, I really appreciate that you looked... I have a really good idea for doing something about the two, so I guess I'll have to dig out my inner artist... |

| #256tchazzar_iiMar 07, 2005 2:44:22 | Sorry, Big Sis. Apparently in my haste to try out my new account, I failed to mention that I'd already looked through many of the listed links, including the one for "out-of-print" material. Based on everything I've seen, it appears that there are no "official" city maps for Chessentan cities. But if anyone has or knows of a fan-created map, especially of Cimbar, I'd be interested. Thanks again. |

| #265mankyleMar 17, 2005 11:54:04 | Regarding the "Ten Towns" Maps, you can find maps of almost all of these towns in the "Forgotten Realms Atlas" by Karen Wynn Fonstadt. I don't know in the US but here in Spain it has been reprinted at least three times. There you can find maps of the Moonshae islands, and Northern and central Faerûn. It was an expensive book and most of the information it comes with is really outdated. Nevertheless is an outstanding book. (Her Middle Earth and Dragonlance book are also awesome). ![]() |

Three weeks ago Karen Wynn Fonstadt passed on due to severe complications derived from breast cancer. As you may know she was the writer of many excelent cartography books including "Atlas of the Forgotten Realms", Atlas of the Dragonlance", Atlas of Middle Earth" and "Atlas of Pern". | #277AlecRAMar 27, 2005 21:28:29 | I'm currently hunting for updated maps of the following cities and there surrounding Moon Sea areas. Hulburg - (the ruins, keep, the Vault of the dead/Lich Chamber and the Wreck of the Reaver) Sulasspryn - (over all ruins and potential tunnels to the underdark) I also need general maps of Thar and the Galena Mountains/Vaasa by the Moon Sea. Lastly, while not looking for a map I need help Identifying an offical FR supplement map. I have tried finding the area it is cannonly located in, in the FR IA, but none of the town names pull up nor the desert region names. If its alright i'll post some of the names below and other info on it. I would love to buy the supplement this originated. printed in 1992 TSR, Inc a large 8 panel fold out desert map, looks like the capital is Michaca (michaca city of gold, and the pasocada basin), there are many Desert dwarve locations (Rockjaw clan and Sandbeard clan), as well as Elf-Clans of Poscadar, and "animal name" tribe listings. It looks like the main desert areas are settled by the Dog people (a tribe?) and called the "Sands of Itzcala". If anyone needs anymore info PM me or if this violates anything please remove this part of the post. thanks |

| #283saurstalkApr 08, 2005 18:22:10 | Two things. 1. The Map Request. a. Citadel Felbarr. Urgent. I have a campaign taking place here. b. Westgate. Not Urgent, but wanted. I'm building a campaign here. c. Iriaebor. Icing on the cake. I have two poorly rendered maps & want better. 2. Cartographer? I really like Christopher West's work and wish WotC would contract with him to build updated maps of various cities and regions throughout Faerun. If not him, somebody! Please! Otherwise, I wish the WotC would update Volo's CD-ROM guide to Faerun. (It's 2E and good for some areas, but is so darn incomplete that it's frustrating to use. MOST frustrating. |
| #284zombiegleemaxApr 09, 2005 17:26:17 | greymouse there are plenty of sites all over the net that have English versions of the various maps of Faerun. the trouble is that none of them have actually got permission to post these maps ... they are breaking copyright and are illegal. Bottom line - they are thieves, stealing other people's work rather than using it with their permission. WotC will not allow you to post links to a page that breaks copyright, and if anyone does then I will have to delete it. |
| #285zombiegleemaxApr 13, 2005 14:27:26 | Um, okay, I have a few here, so I'll just write them as a list: 1. Undermountain 2. Waterdeep 3. The Yawning Portal 4. Calimshan (any city there) 5. Cormanthor 6. Myth Drannor 7. Baldur's Gate If there are no maps for some of these places, that's cool, I'll make my own. Oh, and if I made a map, could I submit it to WotC to see if they would make it official? Just curious... |
| #286friendofreligionApr 18, 2005 18:12:50 | Please direct me to a link for a medium or high resolution jpg of the "Great Ruins of Shoonach" poster map from Lands of Intrigue. It is included in the PDF, but sliced up into pieces. If there is an assembled version somewhere, I'd like to download it. I've been trying to buy the boxed set so that I can have the original poster, but I'm always outbid for it -- I'm only willing to pay so much for it since I have the color map already and all of the text is in the free PDF from the WOTC downloads page (and BigSis's post at the top of this thread). |

| #299saurstalkMay 25, 2005 10:47:44 | Anyone have a map of Hillsfar?. Is there a official one in any of the 3.5 products at all ? I looked for this once before. To my knowledge, there is no map. I don't even recall one being in the Forgotten Realms CD-ROM atlas. |
| #300zombiegleemaxMay 26, 2005 21:10:25 | give me your ideas.anybody !!!!!! I need some serious help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL |
| #301zombiegleemaxMay 31, 2005 14:15:52 | I was wondering if you've got a detailed map of Velprintalar I'll second that request. I've just begun a new campaign set in the Aglarond region, and I suspect that my band of brave adventurers will be going to Velprintalar in the near future. A map would come in very handy, as I love giving handouts, but unfortunately my cartography skills are quite lacking. Cheers, ct |
| #302zombiegleemaxJun 10, 2005 4:08:12 | Hello. I don't know if this has been asked before or not (didn't really have time to read the whole thread), so I apologize in advance if it has. Anyways, I am looking for the new Faerûn and Underdark maps in a large, print-friendly scale, however, I need them blank. By blank I mean with no text or roads at all. No markings, no cities, and preferably without the map keys and compass rose–in other words, just the plain drawing. The thing is that I need it in spanish and the actual map translations for the spanish version suck big, fat, hairy, donkey balls. I see that WotC has shared parts of the maps in this form, but they are either incomplete or so tiny it's laughable (like the underdark one), so I am not sure how much of a copyright infringement that would be. A blank fan-made map consistent with the updates would work great, too... I have the Interactive Forgotten Realms Atlas and could use that to translate all the names, but the maps for that one are old and not up do date with the changes made for the 3E version of the Faerûn map. Any help would be much appreciated. |
| #303aliira-sunstarJun 15, 2005 11:13:06 | Hello, I'd also like a map of Mirabar- any info>? In the 2ed Books by Volo there aren't any. |
| #304zombiegleemaxJun 18, 2005 3:21:18 | Need any maps that has the location of anything inside the Raurin Desert., a.k.a. also called the Dust Desert, Stone Desert, and the Desert of Desolation... I rememeber some 20 years ago I seen a map of this region that had many places listed in very high quality detail... Places I recall being there: Oasis of the White Palm, Oasis Akbar, Tomb of Martek, Cursed City of Medinat, City of Terbaker, Pyramid of Amun Re, Mobius Tower of Time, Crystal Minaret Palace, a big massive sucking vortex to the abyss, ancient temples to Anu, Set, Seker, Isis, Crypt of Badr-al mosak, many othe rurins, Sunken Garden/Canal City of Pazar, Lost City of Pheonix, Glass seas "places weere massive magical basttles with fire have turned the sand to glass", nameless crypts with gates to lower planar worlds, even drow slavers roaming the region, even a massive undead army, led by a former demi-power who was supposedly a vizer to the the effreti god the Sultan of Fire ..... I also recall monsters so powerfull that they have been known to even have eaten mulhorandi god-kings alive, I think they were like living sandstorms, and powerfull brown dragons |
| #305allaniusJun 20, 2005 15:32:14 | I am looking for a detailed map of the Mulhorand city of Skuld. I have seen the drawing of the city in the FRCS book and the map from the 2nd. Ed. Old Empires book and noticed they didn't match up. I wondered if there was a newer version of this map. Also, I would like a map of Unther, Mulhorand and Thay. Thanks in advance. |
| #306zombiegleemaxJun 20, 2005 18:30:12 | There is a map of Thay in the Unapproachable East sourcebook. You can get the blank map here (without any text). Sorry, I don't know about the others, as I'm not near my books at the moment. |
| #307zombiegleemaxJun 21, 2005 12:59:43 | I've checked the one's listed, and in one couldn't find the map. The other was pretty horrible. Anyone know of a good map of Zazesspur? Thanks |
| #308allaniusJun 21, 2005 14:25:01 | Actually, I'm looking for a single map containing Thay, Mulhorand and Unther together. |
| #309zombiegleemaxJun 30, 2005 21:32:44 | I need a map of the city of Port Luskan for my current campaign. If anyone can help me out, I'd be much obliged. Thanks. |
| #310aliira-sunstarJul 03, 2005 11:37:32 | A map of Luskan can be found in The North in the 2Ed books downloadable in PDF in WoTC's site. It can also be found in the Forgotten Realms Interactive Atlas. |

| #313zombiegleemaxJul 07, 2005 17:20:41 | Hi there! I'm looking for a great map of Cormyr. I'm reminded of the awesome work done by Arravis on his map of central Faerûn. If he did something like this for Cormyr it would be great. If not any other detailed map would be great. Thanks --S. edit: I did look at the other maps of Cormyr proposed here. They are good but I would need a bit more details. Thx. |

| #315zombiegleemaxJul 10, 2005 2:10:19 | hi guys im looking for a map of the unknown lands to the west of maztica. even an enlarged one with no detail would suffice if theres none in existence. also id like to know if any ones done "patches"for the 4 part map of faerun, with places like the edificant library ect. these would just be maps that you can just glue over the top the existing one, if you know what i mean. thnx! |
| #316zombiegleemaxJul 14, 2005 22:59:55 | i think i killed this thread. why does that always seem to happen ![]() ![]() |
| #317zombiegleemaxJul 18, 2005 23:22:41 | This isn't a request for a map as much as a request for map-related information. I have the big map of faerun but i would like to know if anyone has ever put Longitude or Latitude lines on it? I don't need a huge grid, but i would like to know where the equator and tropics are. Has any such map ever been made? Preferably an overview of all of Toril, like in the FR Campaign settings, but with like an equator and tropics? Oh, and of course, much Thanks. |
| #318saurstalkJul 19, 2005 9:43:43 | This isn't a request for a map as much as a request for map-related information. Has any such map ever been made? Hm, I'm like two related things. 1. A high quality online version of that map. 2. A high quality hard copy of that map that I could buy and frame. |
| #319deafbymetalJul 19, 2005 12:49:08 | Hm, I'm like two related things. Here Ye, Hear Ye, WoTC! I second this motion! Bigger maps, more details, and so forth. Perhaps a company such as Profantasy could be hired to update the maps to the current version. I myself own the interactive atlas, and find it to be very useful, if outdated. |

| #321deafbymetalJul 19, 2005 17:16:14 | Another that I would love to see take on the endeavor is Christopher West. His maps are incredible! Christopher West? Not sure I've seen his work (but then again, I rarely look at the credits for artwork in books). I have most of the books, could you direct me to his work? Thanks. |
| #322saurstalkJul 19, 2005 21:05:33 | Christopher West? Not sure I've seen his work (but then again, I rarely look at the credits for artwork in books). I have most of the books, could you direct me to his work? Thanks. He has done a lot for Dungeon magazine. I'm not sure whether he has contracted specifically with WotC. Likewise, I am unsure whether it'd be appropriate for me to assign a link to his website, but typing in a search of "Christopher West" and "maps" should do the trick. |
| #323deafbymetalJul 20, 2005 6:58:28 | When all else fails, Google. Thanks, I'll look into this. |
| #324deafbymetalJul 20, 2005 7:04:43 | Oh, yeah. I can see Christopher West doing this for WoTC. Found his personal website here: Westwinds . Good stuff, I will admit. |
| #325zombiegleemaxJul 26, 2005 14:45:21 | The http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geographical index of Toril shows a lot of locations in Faerûn and the Endless Wastes (almost nothing for the rest, sadly). Links should bring you to places with maps. We need help for enriching theis wikiproject! |
| #326zombiegleemaxJul 26, 2005 16:32:09 | Several people have been calling for a map of Evereska. The only one I could find, and it is cut off slightly because of the place it is found, is located in the third novel of the series that brings the Shades back into Faerun. I just read it, but have promptly forgotten the name. It has a map inside the front cover of parts of Evereska proper. OK, I put the picture online. Check it out. |
| #327zombiegleemaxJul 29, 2005 3:12:06 | I have looked just about everywhere for a map of this place. Can someone point me to one if it exists? |
| #328zombiegleemaxJul 29, 2005 13:06:26 | I'm found by Ellyn'taal localization, presented in Lost Empires of Faerûn. Someone could help me?? |
| #329zombiegleemaxJul 31, 2005 7:43:42 | Does anyone know of maps of the following: 1) Adbar 2) Felbar 3) Mithrall Hall. The "maps" in the Silver Marches are not exactly detailed or of any real use. If they do not exist I would be happy to make them. Anyway got any ideas on how to get enough info to make it an official styled map? |
| #330saurstalkJul 31, 2005 11:14:31 | Does anyone know of maps of the following: As you'll note in a post high above, I was also in search once of Felbar. Directly from WotC, the information I got was that (a) no such map exists and (b) no such map has been envisioned. My guess is that you'll have the same problem with Adbar and Mithral Hall. I ended creating my own version of Felbarr using a variety of maps - modified to suit my needs. If you want copies, PM me your e-mail address and I can send them to you. |
| #331zombiegleemaxAug 02, 2005 20:58:51 | Thanks, Sis! I'm looking for a map of the layout of House Do'Urden the infamously destroyed noble House in Menzoberranzan....Can anyone help? :D |
| #332mankyleAug 25, 2005 4:13:52 | Try searching for the old Menzoberranzan Computer game. I think one of the last levels was House Do'Urden in Menzoberranzan. Bay the way. Is there any map of Secomber out there? I intend to put my player in the High Moor. |
| #333zombiegleemaxAug 28, 2005 20:37:42 | I'm looking for a map of Ascore in the NW edge of Anaroch. I know there is a map for it because I've seen it before I just can't remember where it was. Thanks. |
| #334mankyleAug 29, 2005 3:05:37 | For those of you who wanted a map of the city of Ascore, on the westernmost part of Anauroch, there is a very bad quality map at the end of "The Savage Frontier" There you can also find maps of: Luskan, the city of sails. Silverymoon The dungeon below "The Granfather Tree" Hellgate Keep (before its destruction) and a handful of other maps. |

I have the FRCS map of the world, but was looking for more specific maps of the Pennisula region, but most importantly, of Samarach itself. I checked the links to Pro-Fantasy, Myth-Drannor's map room and Candlekeep...came up with very little (or nothing). Any help, especially with Samarach would be much appreciated. Thanks, Tal |

| #352zombiegleemaxFeb 14, 2006 20:22:06 | Hi, sorry for the laziness, but there's a lot of material here, has anything been asked, or are there any maps in existance for the Isle of Lantan, other than that little piece of the map in the FR Handbook. I've had to cut an image of the place out of whole cloth, but if there's something else out there, official, it'd be nice to a least see it. |

| #358zombiegleemaxMar 30, 2006 19:39:14 | I need a map of the "unclaimed/unsettled" area east of Amn and Tethyr. I've been looking for a map that includes the Shilmista, Snowflake Mountains, The Deepwash, Cloven Mountains, Deepwing Mountains, Winterwood, Thornwood, and the southern tip of the Shining Plains. I've founds maps that show some or part of this area, but I need a map that covers all this, particularly one that centers on the Snowflake Mountains, Cloven Mountains, and the foothills inbetween. Yeah, yeah, I know that in Faerun this is considered unsettled frontier and hardly anyone lives there (precisely why I my campaign is based there!). And I know this is probably why I can't find detailed map of this area anywhere. But the campaign I've been working on for a year (it's a labor of love) is due to start in 2 weeks and all I need is a map, for the love of God! I guess I COULD draw one, but that is a last resort because my cartography skills are wretched. My maps end up looking like football plays on a locker room chalkboard.Any help??? Pleeeeeaaase! |

| #380zombiegleemaxJan 25, 2007 20:01:38 | Hey guys. Here is a hard one. I need a map of Mezro in Chult. Or i'd settle for a map with Mezro on it. Thanks much! |
| #381merrikcaleJan 25, 2007 20:12:16 | here's an easy one. a good map of neverwinter |
| #382zombiegleemaxJun 27, 2007 6:52:06 | I need maps of drow cities. Any drow cities. But they need to be detailed, with the complete layouts and buildings of the city. |
| #383evenglareJun 28, 2007 16:13:01 | is there a high quality map of faerun... like the poster that i could print out in like..8 pages or whatever. They have that for eberron, i was wondering if they have it for faerun. Its annoying not to have one. |
| #384zombiegleemaxJun 28, 2007 16:45:20 | Find me a good map of Yawning Portal Inn. The map in the Exp. to Undermountain doesn't even feature the portal inside the inn! Alternatively, point me to a source book with said map, no matter what edition. Thanks in advance, Pokemeister |
| #385zombiegleemaxJun 28, 2007 16:46:12 | is there a high quality map of faerun... like the poster that i could print out in like..8 pages or whatever. They have that for eberron, i was wondering if they have it for faerun. Its annoying not to have one. I got one somewhere.... search torrents and you will find a high quality map of Faerun. |
| #386markustay63Jun 29, 2007 2:40:13 | For three different versions of the world map, you can get them HERE. For some others, you can check out my gallery HERE. The Yawning Portal, hmmm? I haven't tried a small map yet... EDIT: found the place HERE. |
| #387zombiegleemaxJun 29, 2007 11:44:24 | The Yawning Portal, hmmm? I haven't tried a small map yet... It's nice, _but_ the yawning portal is 40 feet wide... The map of yawning portal inn in Exp. to Undermountain lacks not only the portal inside the inn, the inn is too small to fit the portal. I think I will end up drawing my own map . I was just curious if there was a "canon" version out there. |
| #388zombiegleemaxJul 02, 2007 17:33:11 | Hi All, I'm looking for tactical maps of room's. Tavern's, Temple's, Manor's, Ruins and such. My drawing skill suck and typically don't have a lot of time to create what I need. I would really like to provide something a bit more visually pleasing for my players. Thanks. |
| #389swedishguy91Jul 08, 2007 18:18:17 | I'm looking for a map on Western Heartlands with The Citadel of Strategic Militancy marked |
| #390markustay63Jul 08, 2007 22:58:56 | Unfortunately, none of my current maps include Baldur's Gate, but if I were to place it anywhere, I would put it NE of BG, where the main road splits into a side-trail. Forks in the road are always a good spot to place a town or fortress. ;) |
| #391thehomemadeAug 06, 2007 16:04:15 | Hi Everyone ! I used to have a CC2 Map of Triel. Does anybody can help me ? The page that had is not working anymore. Also, I'm searching for a detailed map of Skullport. Have you ever see one ? Even an unofficial will do. Thanks a lot ! Thehomemade |
| #392jhaladAug 06, 2007 19:34:08 | Most of links past the original post do not work, or lead to spam sites! |
| #393boozeOct 07, 2007 8:35:15 | does anyone have a map of the Utter East and the whole Yehimal Mountains? i know the one at Candlekeep made by Markustay, but i need one with the whole mountain range |
| #394markustay_dupOct 07, 2007 13:44:42 | The Utter East one includes almost the entire range, except for a wee bit of the north parts and a little of the east, I think. I'm not at home now, but when I return there in a day or two I will post a larger section with whatever little is missing. ;) |
| #395boozeOct 07, 2007 14:14:29 | ah, ok... i somehow had them much bigger in memory, my bad thanks already in advance ![]() |
| #396markustay63Oct 08, 2007 23:47:04 | Here you go. The map is in no way complete - I've barely begun the eastern Realms. This is just so you can an idea of what little wasn't shown on the Utter East map (which is still available over at Candlekeep.com BTW) |
| #397boozeOct 09, 2007 9:54:42 | awesome! thanks for the awesome work i'll obviously continue following your development of th eastern realms (good for my newest chracter's background story) btw, what do you use to make these maps? do you consider making a whole Faerun (or even beyond) map once you made all those single smaler maps (like a huge really detailed one i mean)? |
| #398markustay63Oct 09, 2007 14:22:34 | I use Photoshop. I started with the big FR map available for FREE here at WotC, and 'nudge' stuff around so it better fits with the lore on older maps. I also 'pasted' the K-T maps (what a nightmare!) to the end of the continent, and the Zakharan one below it. I did most of the Hordelands map by hand, because I needed to 'stitch' the two very different maps together. The Zakharan one was actually much easier. For the terrain I just 'draw over' the existing map with the textures from the newer 3e maps. All of my maps are already part of a much larger one. When I post one I take a 'snapshot' of one part of it and add a scale and compass rose, and occasionally a Map Key for the larger ones. |
| #399capnvanOct 09, 2007 16:02:15 | And they are routinely fantastic, btw. Keep up the good work! |
| #400boozeOct 09, 2007 16:40:06 | Markus: aah, cool cool... and i can just continue what capnvan said, awesome work! ![]() |
| #401markustay63Oct 09, 2007 17:51:53 | Just as long as everyone understands that the original artwork and textures are NOT mine, and all names and places are part of the Forgotten Realms© Campaign Setting and are the Intelectual Property of Wizards of the Coast®. I have to be doubley sure to cover my butt now. ;) |
| #402boozeOct 09, 2007 17:55:01 | well, that's obvious, isn't it? still you put a lot of work into transforming someone elses ideas into awesome maps, still pretty great if you ask me ;) |
| #403wonderboy06Oct 24, 2007 11:56:50 | I have been searching recently for a map of either Chondath or of the Chondlewood, if anyone could send a link to either it would be very helpful. |
| #404deafbymetalDec 16, 2007 11:21:37 | I seem to remember a map of the Realms that had an image of the United States overlaid to give a proportion of the size of Faerûn. Does anyone remember this image and where it was from (and if it can be found online anywhere)? |
| #405jhaladDec 16, 2007 18:42:29 | I seem to remember a map of the Realms that had an image of the United States overlaid to give a proportion of the size of Faerûn. Does anyone remember this image and where it was from (and if it can be found online anywhere)? Sure do. In the original Forgotten Realms Boxed set. DM's Sourcebook of the Realms, page 10. You can download it at ENWorld.org for 5 bucks (the whole box set), along with all sorts of other old and new D&D stuff. Sure wish they'd sell a PDF version of Complete Adventurer. Anybody know where to buy that? |
| #406deafbymetalDec 16, 2007 20:18:06 | Sure do. In the original Forgotten Realms Boxed set. DM's Sourcebook of the Realms, page 10. You can download it at ENWorld.org for 5 bucks (the whole box set), along with all sorts of other old and new D&D stuff. Thanks for the help! I wish I still had that box set, left it at a game years ago and never saw it again. I may download the set from Enworld, though (at least for the nostalgia of it). |
| #407fillowFeb 21, 2008 13:25:59 | Well Met, I wonder where I coulf find a map of the city of Hlondeth. I searched before asking you but... I missed! Thanks a lot. |
| #408markustay63Feb 21, 2008 22:57:42 | I'm pretty certain there isn't one - sorry. |
| #409fillowFeb 22, 2008 15:15:53 | I was afraid of reading that! Thanks a lot all the same! |
| #410markustay63Feb 23, 2008 11:44:12 | Almost all the city maps were done back in 1e & 2e, and were included in the Forgotten Realms Interactive Atlas, which I have, and Hlondeth wasn't in there. I checked the most recent source, Serpent Kingdoms, and although the city gets a decent write-up, there is no map. I don't think ANY cities were mapped in 3e - the few maps that did appear were from older sources (like Waterdeep). ![]() There is a rather interesting Old Thread about it, though. ;) |
| #411fillowFeb 24, 2008 9:58:08 | Allright. Thanks for your answers Markus |
| #412the_shamanJun 07, 2008 17:11:53 | By the way, does anyone know which of the resources on the front page are still working? I've checked TVC in particular - I'm looking for a few village maps, ideally of Olostin's Hold - but for the life of me I can't find the maps themselves. |
| #413lord_karsusJun 12, 2008 12:31:56 | -For anyone needing one, there is a nice map of Waterdeep available at The Realms Vault. |
| #414merrikcaleJun 13, 2008 17:49:53 | -For anyone needing one, there is a nice map of Waterdeep available at The Realms Vault. It is nice. Yes. |
| #415fillowJun 14, 2008 12:42:48 | It is nice. Yes. It's more than nice ! With the insertion of names of known buildings, it's so precise and useful ! Just the zoom tool of the pdf file make the use longer. |
| #416markustay63Jun 14, 2008 13:23:26 | Exactly the kind of product WotC SHOULD be producing but refuses to. They make the products THEY want, not what WE want. ![]() Fortunately, dedicated fans like the one who created the Waterdeep Map will keep the real Realms alive. ![]() Olostin's Hold - I don't think there was an official one, and I've tried to track down the fan-made one that went with This Site, to no avail. WARNING!!! Do not click on the links in that article I just linked - just read the article. The link is a dead end, and makes my Virus-protection software go Nutz! Presumably we should have been able to access the campaign journal and some illustrations, including the map, but that appears to be long gone now. |
| #417lord_karsusJun 14, 2008 13:30:08 | Exactly the kind of product WotC SHOULD be producing but refuses to. -Which is why it is left to "us" to "make" the things "we" want to see. |
| #418sickboyfrankJun 19, 2008 12:37:48 | Could anyone point me in the direction of a map of Dun-Tharos? I'm looking but not finding ![]() |
| #419lord_karsusJun 19, 2008 14:52:47 | -Can't think of anything off-hand. Did you try a web search, firstly? |
| #420woobyluvJun 20, 2008 11:50:03 | There are 2 maps I'd like. Westgate - Current as of 1372 DR, done in a similar fashion as the Waterdeep maps Baldur's Gate - also current as of 1372 DR, also done in a similar fashion as the Waterdeep maps Those are the big cities I tend to use most ![]() |
| #421iliyanOct 05, 2008 3:54:09 | Ok, so recently I found myself wanting a bit of good-ole-dwarven-fun and so I set out to create a Dwarven campaign set in the Silver Marches of the FR. This is where some problems arise, mainly I can't find a decent writeup or map of Citadel Adbar( the one in the "Silver Marches" is by far inadequate...) and so I was wondering weather anyone has EVER seen a Citadel Adbar map, or even Citadel Felbar? I do poses a very fancy map of Mithral Hall, and Silvermoon which do come in handy, however some more locations are missing, namely Everlund and Sundabar. So to sum up, if anyone has any maps or good materials regarding: Citadel Adbar, Citadel Felbar, Everlund or Sundabar please share them! Thank you! |
| #422lord_karsusOct 05, 2008 10:39:37 | Ok, so recently I found myself wanting a bit of good-ole-dwarven-fun and so I set out to create a Dwarven campaign set in the Silver Marches of the FR. -I'm pretty sure that the Silver Marches sourcebook has what you're looking for. If not all of the above, then some. |
| #423lord_karsusOct 05, 2008 10:41:27 | -As I side note, I need to pick through the bones of this old thread, and see what maps are still around and useful. |
| #424iliyanOct 06, 2008 7:53:44 | Most of the links are long deceased, so I wouldn't have my hopes up >< Btw, thanks for the silver marches reference. It is wonderful. |
| #425lord_karsusOct 06, 2008 10:30:21 | Most of the links are long deceased, so I wouldn't have my hopes up >< -Yeah, I know. But, if there's anything of relative worth... |
| #426markustay63Oct 06, 2008 13:00:43 | Nearly complete Tabot WIP is up. ![]() |
| #427iliyanOct 07, 2008 7:06:01 | Sorry to say it, but the link is dead? Maybe you pasted it wrong >< |
| #428markustay63Oct 08, 2008 14:11:43 | Nope - all the maps have been removed until I receive a formal apology from WotC. |
| #429friendofreligionOct 08, 2008 16:16:17 | Bravo. . |
| #430AegeriOct 10, 2008 2:09:16 | Nope - all the maps have been removed until I receive a formal apology from WotC. ???? |
| #431lord_karsusOct 10, 2008 10:10:45 | -Most of these links are dead. I'm going to have this thread closed. |
| #432thearrowsingerAug 27, 2010 0:18:23 | -Most of these links are dead. I'm going to have this thread closed. would anyone mind telling me what happened here? |
| #433kingstearsSep 02, 2010 1:02:47 | I modified the 4e FR Poster Map that I found to make a map of the Loudwater Environs for the campaign that I started using the adventures in the FR book. Basically, I cropped up the map to the area, including enough map to catch Waterdeep. Then, moved Loudwater 30 or so miles to the Grayflow river. The Poster Map made it look like Loudwater is in the Southwood, and not nearly on the river, probably so the titles would fit nice. I was more interested in the placement of the dot, so I moved the stuff around. In the process, I re-defined the rivers in the area, blue'ed up Highstar lake, and re-added the river from Highstar Lake over to the Grayflow. I got over the whole renaming of the river (lol). After I was done with the tweak I hit the "original" map and copied over a section of scale and snagged the D&D logo and compass. The map was enlarged 125%, but the logo and compass were reduced to fit and look nice. A few bits around the outside of titles to things that couldn't be seen or read were removed and I called it done. Link to the map as it is on Photobucket: Loudwater Environs Map. There's a second map there with Loudwater's dot yellowed and Waterdeep has a red star... to make finding the high points easy. ![]() |
| #434xpochianSep 25, 2010 1:19:33 | here's a map i drew from one our campaigns currently taking place in the delimbiyr vale: cdn.obsidianportal.com/map_images/73477/... |
