In short:
-It's home to the Nentyarch, the most powerful druid in eastern Faerun as well as the leader of the Circle of Leth, a group dedicated to the protection of the Forest of Lethyr and the Rawlinswood(4e Dunwood).
-Also home to lots of Treants, several villages of secretive Wood Elves, and a handful of Volodni (pine folk) bands.
-Fortress Narder: old Narfelli ruins. Something buried in its dungeons is somehow corrupting the vegetation around the ruins.
-Mauberg's Oak: A HUGE oak tree (50 feet in diameter at its base, 300 feet tall) which houses a Druid school. A great many Treants dwell under its canopy and a dozen Aaracokras live in the upper branches of the tree, both groups helping the resident druids defend the great tree
-The Mucklestones: An ancient druidic holy site, the area feature an arrangement of stones covered in nature runes. the stones sometimes move about of their own accord. each of these stones is a portal to a different part of Faerun. the site is jealously guarded by the Circle of Leth.
Of course this was all back in third edition. Who knows what might have happened there in the last 100 years...
