I apologize if this question has been asked before, but I am having trouble using the search function.

My group has been using the FR setting for as long as I can remember. I've read a ton of the novels, read through the old 3E FRCS book and read lots of the other sourcebooks available for FR.

So, my question is this: is the 4E Campaign setting book worth it for me? Is there enough new material in it to justify the cost?

Thanks in advance for your input on this.

ONLY if you plan on playing in the new era of 1479 DR. There is nothing new in there that would have existed pre-Spellplague.

The 4e FRPG is ONLY worth it if you plan on using 4e rules.

If you are planning on using both the setting and the rules, then I would recommend both... otherwise, no.

I'd recommend the FRCG if only for the 'Returned Abeir' section. It's pure Ed Greenwood.
