First off, there are no stats for 4E FR Bane, and there most likely never will be.

As for lore, well, Bane made his pact with Szass Tam following the Spellplague. as you already know, and the church of Bane has a tentative alliance in Thay with Szass Tam for another 900 years or so (at least until Bane reneges). Bane managed to keep Shar at bay when she attempted to bring Hoar into her fold; whether she cares or not is another story (but she is very vindictive). Bane took Loviatar as his consort, and managed to coerce Tiamat into serving him (which she reluctantly does). He also forced Maglubiyet and Hruggek to submit to him, and has great sway over the goblins of Faerun as a result. He is no longer the faith-of-choice in the Zhentarim, since that organization divorced from his church following the annihilation of Zhentil Keep in 1383 (?) DR. He elevated Fzoul Chembryl to the role of Exarch (though why he would after Fzoul failed him is a mystery). That's pretty much all we know about post-Spellplague Bane. He also welcomed Abbathor into his gang, which gives him an "in" with evil dwarves.

Well, he did serve Bane extremely well all in all I would say. Risking his life and more to defy Cyric (his deity at the time). Which is rather incongruous with the usual evil villain mindset. He was always devoted to Bane, even when he did not "exist".

I misspoke. I didn't mean "Why would Bane elevate Fzoul?", but rather "Why would Bane elevate Fzoul after his greatest failure?". It's the timing that confuses me; I suppose upon Fzoul's death, it was a now-or-never situation.

First off, there are no stats for 4E FR Bane, and there most likely never will be.

Actually, there are stats for Bane, it's just that those aren't official stats ;)

Ah, true.:embarrass I figured the OP meant official stats; didn't even think about fan-made stats. Very nice, by the way.

-Like most things, the only source of information concerning Bane in the Post-Spellplague Forgotten Realms is the FRCG. Most information concerning Bane deals with the pre-Spellplague, days, however. For that information, you'll find the most in Faiths and Avatars (2e), and Faiths and Pantheons (3e).
