|
| #2lord_karsusAug 03, 2008 14:50:41 | -The Swordmage is a class that is new. It's based on an archetype that's not new (the Figher/Mage), but the Swordmage itself is. |
| #3GimricAug 03, 2008 15:23:51 | The class is "new" it is still based off of not-so-new class combos and Prestige Classes... It is just a bit of symantics but I agree somewhat with the OP, in that I really dislike the usage/abuse of the language when anyone unveils a not-so-new NEW idea or concept. |
| #4merrikcaleAug 03, 2008 21:06:23 | What are these people smoking? um......cigarettes? |
| #5surgebusterAug 03, 2008 22:10:03 | The class is "new" it is still based off of not-so-new class combos and Prestige Classes... Relax, they just said Swordmage was a new class, not that it would single handedly redefine the D&D experience. It is just a bit of semantics, but in times like these I reflect on 'fan' being short for 'fanatic'. ![]() Joe |
