#1 RUMPLESTIX Aug 04, 2008 21:28:28	I have been off line for a while but the last I remember, the new setting would be something like a hundred years in the future according to the excerpt from 'The Orc King." Now I read FRCS excerpts which seem to imply many centuries have passed. I plan on getting the FRCS, but not knowing is irking me. Any info?

Indeed, the Spellplague has made things seem to have passed many centuries, as the change they've made is tremendous.

In the new article about the eladrin city in what I believe was Cormyr, it mentioned all the centuries this large (i.e. 40000+) city had existed yet I remember no prior mention of it. Did they add it with a back history predating the spellplague or was it already mentioned in previous literature?

#8 RUMPLESTIX Aug 05, 2008 16:35:32	In Dragon #366 it starts out by mentioning Mithrendain (sic?) is in Cormyr. In the actual adobe excerpt I didn't see it mentioned, but it was in the lead in on 08/04/08. Is there some other Cormyr or is this a generic Cormyr?

The Mithrendain Article is useing the "blurb" from the 'Cormyr' article. The samething happened with the Pyramid of Shadows Excerpt. That one had the Warlock Knights of Vaasa "blurb"! 18DELTA ;)

#12 lord_karsus Aug 05, 2008 22:37:12	The Mithrendain article is a "core" piece that can be dropped into any setting. -Right. -STIX, as I have mentioned in another thread, Mithrendain can easily be substituted for Myth Adofhaer, an Elven city that shunted itself out of the Material Plane. at the conclusion of the Seven Citadels War, around -4,300 DR.
