#1 Sea-Envy Aug 08, 2013 14:56:34	I am building a 4E bard based around the powers that insult or threaten your enemies, I also took a divine multiclass feat.  Would any of the good/unaligned Realms Gods favour the idea of taunting or belittleing your unworthy enemies in the middle of battle?

Eh, there aren't any great choices that leap out, but some are less of a stretch than others. Oghma, as the god of knowledge and literature, would probably appreciate witty insults and double entendre. His church doesn't strike me as the type to actively mock its enemies while engaged in battle, but I suppose he would appreciate someone who travels the land, collecting insults and barbs from different cultures and compiling them into one splendid encyclopedia of dissing. That, and the fact he is the divine patron of bards, probably makes him a good candidate. Sune might look favorably upon those who can throw their enemies into disarray by criticizing their appearance. Some Sunites have a flair for belittling the "unattractive", so a handsome fellow could possibly get away with plenty of ugly jokes without losing Sune's favor. Tempus... eh, taunting a foe so as to goad him into making a mistake in battle is certainly a possibility, as is any number of generic battlefield challenges, but Tempus looks more favorably upon action than words. He's a pretty serious deity, too, being the god of war and all. Torm, Ilmater, Bahamut, Lathander/Amaunator, Kelemvor, Waukeen, Selune... definitely not, sorry.
#3 Stigger Aug 08, 2013 16:11:47	Garl Glittergold perhaps, he had jokes in his portfolio last I looked, and I don't see why that shouldn't include jokes at the expense of others.  Brandobaris perhaps might go for something like that as well, presuming he's still around in 4e, I couldn't really say.  Loviatar might go for it too, especially cruel ones, but that probably isn't what you were looking for.
