| #1the_shamanSep 30, 2009 16:45:33 | Hello, I'm almost finished with a short campaign I am running and I'm planning to run another one soon. Most of the players will be running new characters, but just in case they will be starting at level 5. Now, I'm a fairly newbish DM and I want to run a premade adventure. The setting is FR, as per the FRCS timeframe (no Shades yet, for example); the system is Pathfinder RPG, with most 3.5 material being acceptable as per the DM's discretion. I thought about Red Hand of Doom, but I am not certain how and where to best set it in the Realms. Any advice on that, or other good 5th level adventures that I should take a look at? Thanks in advance. |

Its a 1e adventure but it could easily be converted over to 3.75e or whatever. Its basically a bunch of mini adventures strung together, based off the old Pools of Radiance computer game. Its got a bunch of good stuff in it, lots of adventures, dungeons, npcs, etc. It also has the best random encounter chart ever put into print. You could probably find it used pretty cheap on ebay or Amazon. |

No, no comment. Well ok ill comment, city of the spider queen was pretty cool, dealing alot with the drow and the underdark. Into the dragons lair is alright, deals with the death of king azoun of cormyr and i like attack on myth drannor, ive always liked myth drannor so i may be biased on that one. those are really the only ones i picked up so i dont really know about any of the others. but im tellin you Ruins of Adventure is the ****! |

It was quite a while ago. I think we placed it in Unther, but I can't recall what specific part. It might have been in the Chessenta direction. We had a fair amount of reshaping to do to make it fit, but we made it work well. Bah, if only I could dig up my notes! This would be a lot more helpful. ![]() |

Im not sure what level its designed for. I cant find my copy to check. But its highly customizable so it could definatly work for 5th level characters. |

Unsure how good they are, but the variosu adventures can be spun in one big one. City of the Spider Queen is for characters of 10th level. Gomez |
