Hey all, hopefully I'll be on this forum more often since I've started playing in a FR campaign. The first adventure is set in Phlan, and I'm trying to figure out exactly how I ended up there. Quick backstory:

I'm a Green Elf Paladin of Corellon , my father became a public supporter of the Drow after he battled a Drow scouting party.

Are there any small Green Elf settlements relatively  close to Phlan, which could have enounctered a Drow scouting party 40 years ago? The campign is set in 1480~, so around 1440.

Closest ones I could think of would be in Cormanthyr, which at least borders the Moonsea.  As to how one ends up there... the Moonsea is full of threats to the elves, so a paladin who was more proactive would certainly not be out of place, despite standing out quite a bit.

Theres Elventree, although its pretty much a mix, some humans and half-elves in there as well, and Id have to do some research, I dont remember if they were green elves or not, might have been Sun Elves, im thinking most were all wood elves though.

There are wood (?) elves in the Border Forest to the west of Phlan (aka Rystall Wood). There is also the Quivering Forest adjacent to Phlan which was noted as having been planted by elves so that it would grow super-quickly and regenerate if logged.

Are you referring to the marel (aka, sea drow) or just being "funny"?
