(which I find good)...was it also your idea to create this new Torm worshipping theocracy I have read about? Or was that an independent move on the part of the powers that be?

Do you have any more info on this theocracy?

*cough* I didn't have Tyr killed. Contrary to reports, I did not put a hit out on him. *starts sweating profusely*

And nope, I got nothing to do with that theocracy. You know about as much as I do in that regard.

Torm is the Law now. This reminds me (not so dimmly) of the famed Pholtus worshipping Theocracy of the Pale in the Flanaess on Oerth.

I can't say I like that.

Thing about Torm was always his humanity in combination with his virtue. I hope he remains close to his faithful and retains this quality. I would hate to see him turn into a Pholtus like figure or even worse have an entire kingdom worshipping him in the manner of a Pholtus. If I recall correctly the Church of Pholtus was the only permissible religion in that political entity. I can't imagine Torm going that way, especially after what his clergy did in Tantras but things seem so zaney now I can't make heads or tales of anything anymore...

Greenknight, as an expert and harbinger of change, what say you?

Pholtus is more akin to Amaunator. Pelor is actually less like Amaunator - he is more like Lathander.
Torm's Greyhawk equivalent is Heironeous (with Bane being Hextor).

Pholtus is more akin to Amaunator, and I'm sorry to report that Torm is apparently working from his playbook. For more details about the theocracy (Elturgard) go here: http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=1075706

Besides, Greenknight used to be The Yellow Knight and The Blue Knight until 4e rolled them together during their 'divine downsizing'. He's still a little dazed and confused from that.

Or maybe I'm thinking of the Power Rangers...
