Gwaeron Windstrom/Shaundakul?

Aug 12, 2010 2:58:53 I was browsing my copy of Faiths and Pantheons, and noticed under the Mielikki entry that she is served by Gwaeron Windstrom and is friendly with Shaundakul. However, there's no mention in the FRCG about either of them dying. Where'd they go?

Aug 12, 2010 5:38:30 Yeah I agree with Delta. Ive heard various theories, like they turned out to be lesser aspects of Mielikki or SIlvanus, or that they are no longer gods but Primal Spirits. No information about it has been given officially, not that I know of any way. Theres also no word on Finder or Rillifane. Seems like there were a few more whose fates are unknown, but those are the only ones I can think of at the moment.

thye either died,killed etc, left toril, imprissoned

or

they became primal spirits, arch fey, or primordials.

ubtao isnt mentioned either other than aside bar entry iirc

Aug 18, 2010 8:08:50 I think the clergy of Shaundakul have been hit the hardest of all by the spellplague. Shaundakul blesses his faithfull with gaseous forms for a day on the Windride, his holy day on the 15th day of Tarsakh. I recall that the spellplague was unleashed on that same month. Could be that all his clergy got blown away on the cerulean storms and have been "dissolved" into Torils atmosphere ever since.

Shaundakul himself? I guess his wanderlust brought him outside of Ao's crystal sphere. I'd more readily use him in a PoL setting as a powerful travelling diety.

If I would run a 15th century campaign, Gwaeron Windstrom would have survived the Spellplague by not running for cover on a greater dieties domain but somewhere on Fearun itself. He'd lose all of his divinity in the proces and be demoted to a very powerful immortal ranger that tracks the icy norths of Fearun.
