I took a look at the index to see what happened to the Harpers and only found them under Luruar. I had thought up a possible state for the Harper clan to be in and that entry doesn't contradict it, so here is my take on the clan after the Spellplague:

When Mystra died and all the wizards lost their ability to cast magic, the Harpers were at a crisis. They all gathered in their home in Longsaddle looking for answers and when they got them it shook the clan to its core. Unsure what to do, the clan leaders debated. Weeks passed while the debate raged, until finally some of the harpers began leaving to go do their own thing. The clan was finally dissolved, although some of the harpers left to survive in this new world in groups. Here is some information on some of those groups:

Harpers of Their Tower
These Harpers began the study of magic anew, intent on learning its secrets and to regain their powers. They now operate in a hidden tower in a remote location and periodically induct new people into their clan. They all work towards keeping the world safe from abuses of magic and as such believe the study of it should be tightly controlled. Although they aren't (at this time) willing to kill those who do teach wizardry, they do keep a close eye whenever possible in order to step in either directly or indirectly at the first of abusive uses of magic.

Harpers of the Pacts
These Harpers immediately began searching for shortcuts to regain magic and so began forging pacts with other forces. These Harpers work alone typically, although the clan does keep a network where they pass on important information when they can and feel it important.

Harpers of Alchemy
These Harpers began the study of alchemy and went on to settle in a particular area/nation. They continuously work to invent new items and are the best at their craft.

Harpers of Luruar
The members of this clan gathered to reform their clan in Everlund when Netheril returned. Of all the Harper clans, these and the Harpers of Their Tower are the only ones who still consider themselves Harpers, although the two groups have nothing to do with each other and might not even know of the other's existence.

--
The Harpers of Their Tower, Harpers of the Pacts and Harpers of Alcehmy aren't the names of the clans, but are instead just placeholders. They'd be known by something else in game.

What do people think? What I know of the Harpers is only what I've read in a couple of books and online, however I think it certainly works with their old goals. I definitely see a magic-oriented clan/family evolving in this way.

How are people planning on dealing with the Harpers in their post-Spellplague games?
