Has Storm ever met Mystra?

Or any of her chosen for that matter? The heart of my question is in determining how often the deities themselves interact with heroic people [PCs]. It seems that if a party has just accomplished something improving a deities situation or diminishing an enemy - that certain gods may reward the group to ensure they remain in their service... I assume this is the context behind Mystra's chosen - they seem to gain lots of benefits by working with/for her.

Considering spells like planshift - how access able are the gods? Lets assume the benevolent social ones, who would like to interact with petitioners and other beings in their planes. Is Tymora rolling bones with high stakes gamblers who travel to her home?  Or they more detached...

Canonically, they're pretty "accessible/attentive" in a lot of ways, at least to novel characters, usually via a manifestation more than popping in an avatar and saying well done to those who please them.  Keep in mind that the Chosen are a slightly special case though, as they are essentially her daughters in a lot of respects, so they probably get more attention from her than most, except for maybe El, but even then its been stated that Mystra has a special fondness for Storm.

What that means is that the gods appear as often and however the DM says they do.  My own feeling is that it should be kept to a minimum to avoid it becoming a commonplace experience, at least as far as full-blown avatars go.  Manifestations are another story, those can be pretty common place, though I would tend to limit it to being done in front of the truly faithful (not necessarily just clerics mind you) and their companions.

At first I thought he meant Storm of the X-Men.Embarassed

I would say so. Heck El was down like 4 Flat-Tires on a VOLVO with Mystra.Smile

Off hand I can recall instances in the lore where Elminster, Khelben, Sammaster, Syluné, Laeral, and the Simbul all met Mystra prior to or during their ascendance to the ranks of her Chosen.

It can be easily assumed that the same occured for each of the other sisters, or that they otherwise encountered her at some other point in their seven or so centuries of life--especially in the case of Storm.

As for personal face to face interaction with a deity in general, that is likely only something one should expect at the epic tier of play--which incidentally happens to be the tier of play where one can become a Chosen.

-Given that Silver Fire is a portion of Mystra's power, figurativley, Storm "meets" Mystra daily- or, in the very least, whenever she calls upon those powers.
