| #1brokenchainJun 07, 2009 20:26:55 | My son, a lifer and a long time D&D player and Master, needs to find the conversion from 3.0 to 3.5 for: Forgotten Realms campaign settings and City of the Spider Queen. I run Broken Chains and attempt to help all inmates. Any input will be appreciated. Jane Ballard |

I could be wrong about that, though. As for the module, again, I'm not certain if anything needs converting. 3.0 and 3.5 are very similar, and most things that work for one will work for the other. |

The 3e adventures didn't really need updating to 3.5 since the changes that would be made to the adventure are changes to how spells and such in the possession of the monsters are run. Since the adventure doesn't spell out those rules you'd need to reference the PHB/DMG and get the adjusted rules anyway. |

And there were a few notable changes to particular spells. As long as he has the 3.5 books available, all he needs to do is just do a quick check to make sure nothing's changed. |

For example, here: http://forums.gleemax.com/wotc_archive/index.php/t-255217 Setting updates are mainly via the sourcebooks and novels themselves. |

| #7knight_of_the_gateJun 28, 2009 21:17:45 | It bears noting that the major difference in CotSQ from 3 to 3.5 is the difference in haste, as most of the hostile NPCs are spellcasters, and each and every one is noted for using haste to cast multiple spells per round. To run CotSQ for 3.5 I found it necessary to re-stat the Szith Morcane Spellguards and almost all of the defenders of Castle Maerimydra. I will try to dig up those conversions and post them this week. |
