Has WOTC released the Heroes picture yet beyond Paul Kemp's facebook gallery?

Had to screenshot it from the video presentation and not the best quality as a result, but it'll do until there's an official release. Thought I'd share..

It does indeed look awesome.

...and I expect I could name even fewer of them than you Silversword. Though if I had a list of the Sundering book titles and summaries in front of me I might be able to start making guesses.

Could anyone who is more aware of these things  provide a description for the rest of us?

The middle two are obvious, That has to be Dove and Florin on the left, not sure who the Tiefling is, The Shade has to be Cale, not sure about the armourd dude. Not sure about the robed woman either, the Simbul? Thats the only ones I can name, that might be Shadowbane 2nd from the right? Whos that guy charging with the two swords? He looks Turmish. Im sure someone will be able to name others, or corect me on the ones i did, haha.

The Tiefling is really bugging me, I feel I should know that one, was she from Downshadow?

I would agree about how obvious the middle two are. My first thought about the two on the left was Dove and Florin but then I remembered a comment made (here, I think) that only one out of Ambara or Ethena was expected to survive the Edition transition, and since we have seen Storm alive (if not well) it made me doubt that it was Dove. If I am wrong? I shall be overjoyed.

Cale, too, seems like an obvious one. Paul S Kemp mentioned Farideh and Malik as well, in which case the Tiefling would probably be Farideh (from what I can find out about her, she seems to be feature in the Brimstone Angels by Erin M. Evans). Malik is Calishite (if it is the same Malik) which might mean he is the guy on the far right.

I couldn't be sure about Shadowbane or the Turmish guy. Hopefully somebody who has the complete list will help us out! ;)

Not sure, but while he is armoured and weaponed, he is carrying what looks like a large book in his arms. However, it looks like there is help to be had in identifying the rest after all. The following are compiled from lifted posts by Erin M. Evans and Richard Lee Byers in this thread over at CK.

The people in question as well as which author they seem to be identified with (and so I added a note of the book title by that author that they may feature in), in order (left to right) are:

Storm Silverhand (Probably Ed - The Herald)
Dahl Peredur (Erin M. Evans - The Adversary)
Farideh (Erin M. Evans  - The Adversary)
Erevis Cale (Probably PSK - The Godborn)
Vasen Cale (Probably PSK - The Godborn)
...mysterious hooded figure...
Drizzt (Probably Bob - The Companions)
Elminster (Probably Ed - The Herald)
Princess Arietta (Troy Denning - The Sentinel)
Kleef Kenric (Troy Denning - The Sentinel)
Anton Marivaldi (Richard Lee Byers - The Reaver)
Umara Ankhlab (Richard Lee Byers - The Reaver)
Stedd Whitehorn (Richard Lee Byers - The Reaver)
Riven (Only seems to have appeared in PSK's books)
Malik (Only seems to have appeared in TD's books)

That also accounts for at least 1-2 characters for each of the six books. Of course, we will just have to see how it plays out ;).

Malik? As in Malik el Sami yn Nasser? As in the Chosen of Cyric who's always scheming to advance his agenda at the cost of others, that Malik?

He's a hero now? Interesting.

It would seem so. Erin said that the last in the lineup was called "Malik" and he certainly seems to fit the description of the evil little .

Cyric 4 life!

Pfft, drop him down a hole. Better still, go to the beginning of the Avatar series and drop him down a hole then! Snivelling pilchard (Cyric, not you Delta).

May I add?:

* Farideh first appears in Brimstone Angels

* Dahl will debut in the sequel Brimstone Angels: Lesser Evils (out in December)

So...if you want to get a jumpstart. Although there's lots to reread if you've a mind to.

I've already got Brimstone Angels on my to-read list, sadly I am going to have to order it online as the nearest copy in a book shop that I can find is 37 miles away!

Thanks for the heads up, though, Erin!

I still shake my head a little bit when I think about his killing Gwydion and Rinda. So much was made of them protecting the Cyrinishad and then here comes Malik and he kills them both. Yeesh. Oh well. There's something to be said for a worshipper of Cyric who goes against type.

37 miles? Wow--that's a schlep. Do you not have nearer bookstores in your neck of the woods, or do those not order from Wizards/Random House?

(Regardless, you can definitely get it and speedily from many online sources)

Hope you like it!

Oh, my nearest bookshop is about 2 minutes walk away. The nearest bookshop that a) carries Wizards books and b) say they have a copy of Brimstone Angels? 37 miles.

However, all is not lost, there is indeed the online option! Or, because I work there, I can always drop into one of the more specialised book retailers in London. Either way, I am sure I shall have a copy in my hot little hands before too long. [;)]

Hope you like it!

Thanks! I have every expectation that I shall. Of all of those books that have been penned by your good self, it will be the first I have read. I am already looking forward to it.

I just cant believe that the guy I thought was Shadowbane is really Riven lol, in my defense it kinda looks like hes wearing a symbol of Helm on his cloak there.

Does anyone know if there's any previous books Princess Arietta, Kleef Kenric were in? Also is there any story for Anton Marivaldi, Umara Ankhlab, Stedd Whitehorn? Im all caught up for the first 3 books of the Sundering as far as prereq (ie. finished all of drizzt books, both Brimstone Angels, and the 2 series for Erevis Cale, Im up to Elminster in Hell but I cant wrap my head around it). I've finished both the book 1 and 2 and I figure while I wait for book 3 I'll read the avatar series to read up about Malik. Im loving these books!
