Has there been any indication that there are going to be holy weapons for the Forgotten Realms deities, or holy symbols that are specific to those deities? I think the Adventurer's Vault has both a weapon and a holy symbol for each deity in the PHB.

Perhaps in a Dragon article we'll see items for the Forgotten Realms deities? My Cleric/Ranger would love a bow of Silvanus. Especially if it does radiant damage.

Well, I see no real reason why the would change any of them in this regards. So I guess it's safe to assume that they're still using the same holy symbols and favored weapon as before.

The favored weapon of Sylvanus is "The Great Mallet of Sylvanus" which is a maul

Huh, I didn't know that. A maul doesn't seem at all appropriate for that deity. Maybe they'll add Solonor Thelandira at some point.

At any rate, it would be good to see other Clerics get holy weapons too.

The most likely place to look for such things are the FR rulebooks, I doubt they will show up in other core material.

-The favored weapons of certain deities' churches, as well as those deities' favored weapons themselves can be found in Demihuman Deities, Faiths and Avatars, Powers and Pantheons, and the 3e summation of those three, Faiths and Pantheons.

Bear in mind that some of the 3E favored weapons were chosen/changed to show off the 3E weapons roster. In Silvanus's case, while it is plausible that some priests would use an echo of the great mallet of the god's avatar, most priestly followers of Silvanus are druids and use the traditional D&D druidic weapons.

-It is likely that many, if not most, followers of specific deities- lay and ordained- use weapons different than that of their actual deity.
