| #1TullochJan 05, 2011 21:26:48 | Hi all, Starting to write a new FR campaign, and I was thinking of letting a couple of my players have a spellscar. I know there are a few in the book, but I was trying to think of something different. Have any of you created your own spellscars? Any guidelines I should be trying to follow? Thanks for your input in advance ![]() |

I mentioned to the players that aquired spellscars from being in a Plagueland during the adventure that although they didn't plan on getting one it did allow for character options. I used the location chart from 2nd Edition Critical Hits for placement seeing how these players didn't ask for the scar. I also made these scars attractive (or cool looking ) to them so as not to detract from how they would what to perceive their characters. I have to give them information for their Spellplague Sense when it applies. They may also attract the attention (Order of the Blue Fire) depending on where they are, who they are dealing with, and what they have done or are doing. As far as created, none of this group have decided to master their scars yet. If they do I will probably let them use the Powers allowed by Student of the Plague [Multiclass Spellscarred] to keep things balanced. |
