How officially confirmed is it that Tyr is out and Torm is a Greater Deity?

After reading that link from Baker about the gods, celestial courts, etc, I really would like to know...

Anyone have the scoop?

I'm not sure who is writing a pantheon article, if any. My next article highlights Cormyr and should be up in the next couple weeks. Having said that, you will see at least one future article from me covering an astral dominion (ie. a planar realm of one or more gods). :evillaugh

in Norwegian, Tuesday's named after Tyr, Tirsdag (Literally "Tyr's Day"). Much like Thor got Thursday, Torsdag (Thor's Day). And as we've got a party of Norse/nazi worshippers in Norway, where they party leader's title is "Odin's Chief Prophet," he might be welcome there.

A specific political party. They once had a garden dinner beside my mate's house, so i obviously had to shout "fascist pigs!" They want to fine asylum seekers for not teaching their children Norwegian when they're giving them money for keeping them at home during nursery, because we don't have enough nurseries. This sorta makes it bloody difficult for the kid to learn Norwegian.

They're also the most right-wing and capitalist party in Norway, with loads of followers from primarily white fishing and farming communities, and a surprising amount of workers too.

Norwegians continually whine about how bad things are, which is the whiney bit=)

islamic presence doesn't bother me; one of my best friend's BF's a Muslim, two of my drinking mates are Muslims. And where there did i mention islam in my post? Not all asylum seekers are Muslims. Tamiles, which i know a few of, are Catholics. A fair few Vietnamese folk i knew were Catholic too. A lot of Africans are Christians.

i study in Glasgow, because i wanted a new setting. Also, being half-Scots means the language barrier was fairly easy to overcome. Whereas it's worse when it comes to Protestanism-Catholicism secularism (Almost got the daylights beaten outta me by Protestants for being a Catholic the other day, near Catholic turf, non-the-less!), it's generally far more tolerant. When terrorists attacked Glasgow Airport a year ago, with me flying there the next day, they were already making jokes about it.

Not taking Norway for granted; it's a great country. But once i got to Scotland i noticed several differences. Scottish education is far superior for the motivated pupils; they can leave for uni at 16/17, Norwegians at 18/19. A good 17 year old Scot has one year more education-wise on the Norwegian when they finish (They learn uni stuff at high school), and the Norwegian's 2 years older, ergo they're possibly three years ahead. Most Scots finish at 17/18 though.

Also, Norway's not in the EU, so it's far more expensive being a Norwegian student abroad in Europe. Obviously, Scotland's got its share of shortcomings too; neds, hooliganism, secteranism etc. Not quite sure which country i prefer.

Neds. lol.

Yes, chavs are annoying.

I meant outside of Europe. Come to some slummy third world country and you won't ever want to leave. Believe me.

I realise that the EU issue is a very heated issue in Norway, perhaps the biggest one in recent times.

But the fact is that the EEA is open to Norwegians irrespective of the EU membership issue.

How young are you?

Just comparing two western countries' pros and cons, but Norway's got one thing going for it though. it's a less prude country than Scotland.

Granting the rank of consort grants you influence in his affairs, unless Konsort is significantly different, same rule applies. Better to get specific rules on treaty negotiation early. Mystra's approaching leave of absence will complicate life enough.

I'm not going to complicate my own life by suggesting negotiations of any matter not directly related to my service to Mystra.

If I was to otherwise be incapacitated, or something to the effect, you'd have to handle my affairs. Not just a mage anyway, I have several different fields of magical study. Simplest and most complete description, I serve the office of the Goddess of Magic and any legitimate holders of that office and am empowered with whatever titles or capacities are necessary for the completion of my mandate.

To echo LK, I'm not currently seeking a consort and would not be interviewing the Konsort of LK if I were. However, in the interests of not destroying Toril through open conflict between us, some of my affairs require negotiation with LK before I progress. It's good to know who is empowered to negotiate in his name and under what circumstances.

-I kinda figured. Well, back to Tyr and Torm.

-I like Torm. None of the people in my normal group do, though. That was a case of a bad DM.

That reminds me of last saturday when I finally played DnD again after a year and the DM I was talking to was like:
DM: "Well I'm playing in the Realms I don't know if you are familiar with it...."

Me:*smiles* Hell yeah *shows tattoo* Torm all the way

DM: Is That for real?!?

Some player: *grabs his head almost foaming from his mouth* Oh MY ****ing God!!! THAT'S IS AWESOME!!!!

Me: ....It's not THAT serious....
