NO you can not have his large brimmed hat with that feather in it. It's JArlaxle's hat and his trademark.

takeing his hat might have a few drow at your dooorstep and drow attorneies are worst than human attorneies

Looked more like a Musketeers hat to me... at least the one they used in all those movies about them.

You know I always thought it was funny that they was called Musketeers, I mean they were always sword fighting, I dont think I ever saw any of them fire a single musket, not in any of the movies any way, I never read the book, but I digest,

Yeah I agree, it looks like a musketeer hat, just with a bigger feather.

and I believe Jarlaxle had the side down, not pinned up like that.

Heh, no... don't recall any musket volleys in any of the movies I've seen, but relying on movies for historical accuracy is a bit silly.

I think it's a cavalier hat.

It is indeed a Cavalier Hat. You can buy several very nice ones from midevalcollectibles.com, but be prepared to pay 60+ dollars.

There's a guy I met on deviantart, and lavender eyes (Drizzt's fan site) a while ago whose screen name was Lord Onysir (or Onisar, something like that), he cosplayed as Jarlaxe and had pics of it...don't know if they're still up anywhere.

And yeah, it wasn't pinned up, it was down, a very wide brimmed, almost cowbow hat, and the feather was ridiculously large....They sell hats like it online, but its expensive.  Making it would be easier.
