Impiltur? Anyone have any good general info on it, trying to flesh out my character.

I'm not a realm lorist by any stretch. I know who the big guys are, but other than that I'm lost. I'm playing in an LFR game and just wanted some more details to flesh my guy out (not that it'll come up in game...) But anyway.

I'm playing a pacifist cleric (shaman MC) of Chauntea (spirit companion is a brahman calf).

I know the people of Impiltur are large, so I made my guy 6'6" and around 300 lbs, with str10, con12, dex8 that's pretty hefty (thanks be to Chauntea and her plentiful bounty!).

Trying to come up with concept art for a kind of benevolent deacon from Impiltur and some personality quirks, as well as history to immerse him in the realm.

Any information on recent history and the people of this area would be awesome! I read the wiki and the Player's guide, pretty lacking for my needs.

all other info, is in the previous edition.

so if that is all yoiu have and know, then your set.

Cool. Leaves me open to make up whatever I suppose. I'll dig up my old FR guides too if I can find them...

Apr 22, 2010 8:42:57 Too busy working on some WotC project at the moment. I may have some time in late May, but I don't know yet. I'm addicted to taking on new projects, whether DDI or otherwise. Hopefully nothing too shiny comes my way- though I am hoping to get out at least one more Realmslore article before Gen Con.

Tiny bit of a nitpick... a guy who's 6'6" and 300 lbs is going to have more than 10 str... a 10 str is like someone who's 5'8"-5'9" and 160 lbs. If he's 6'6", 300 lbs and is only as strong as a guy half his size, then his muscular structure is horribly inefficient - people might even make fun of him for it.

Now it's your game and all, but just sayin'...
