After I realized that the Flaming Fists are a major player arround Baldur's Gate (based on the LFR adventures and the Campaign Setting) I come to ask myself what influence the Flaming Fists company of mercenaries has on the rest of the Realms?
I presume that they have a huge one on the southern Sword Coast (Beregost and Nashkel aspecially), but I am not sure about the nothern part or even the rest of Faerûn.
Has anyone information about this or good ideas what's to do with this organisation?

Thanks for helping

The way I see it, the Flaming Fists are essentially the army of Baldur's Gate now, they pretty much always haven been, but now its more official, they're part of the city now, not just mercenaries. They're not THE mercenary company of the Realms anymore, that would be the Zhents now. It could be that there are some smaller groups of Flaming Fists here and there across the Realms, but more n likely I think Manshoon would of taken in these groups as his own or eleminated the competition.

So thats pretty much how I see it, the Flaming Fist is the police force in and around Baldur's Gate but they dont act much as mercenaries any more. But its your Realms, how ever you want to go about it would be fine, ya know?

They had an fort under their command down in the south, but I think that fortress may have been abandoned due to the plague and stuff.

If I'm remembering correctly, they helped establish some fort in Maztica, but I don't recall if it was for themselves or as part of a job.
