Hi everybody,

Yesterday, I was finishing one of NPC for my next campaign when I realise that I knew so few about the link between Toril and Faerie.
I know that the Star Elves have a connection with this plane and that a LeShay city reappears in the Moonshaes in 1375. But that’s almost all.
My NPC is a member of the Gatekeepers, a group whose purpose is to prevent any unexpected intrusion in Faerie by the various portals of Faerun and fight against aberrations invasions.

These are her stats:

Description Sahiris is a beautiful little nymph with green hairs. She has a powerful connection with the world of faerie and guards most of the portal in north faerun to this plane. She was a servant of the Pillywiggin Queen Ariel in the Seelie Court before she took his charge of Gatekeeper.
--------------------------------------------------------
Blinding Beauty (Su): This ability affects all humanoids within 30 feet of a nymph. Those who look directly at a nymph must succeed on a DC 26 Fortitude save or be blinded permanently as though by the blindness spell. A nymph can suppress or resume this ability as a free action. The save DC is Charisma-based.
Stunning Glance (Su): As a standard action, a wrathful nymph can stun a creature within 30 feet with a look. The target creature must succeed on a DC 26 Fortitude save or be stunned for 2d4 rounds. The save DC is Charisma-based.
Unearthly Grace (Su): A nymph adds her Charisma modifier as a bonus on all her saving throws and as a deflection bonus to her Armor Class. (The statistics block already reflects these bonuses).
Skills: A nymph has a +8 racial bonus on any Swim check to perform some special action or avoid a hazard. She can always choose to take 10 on a Swim check, even if distracted or endangered. She can use the run action while swimming, provided she swims in a straight line.
Grapple Bonus (Ex): Sahiris has a +4 on her grapple checks.
Spontaneous Casting: A druid can channel stored spell energy into summoning spells that she hasn’t prepared ahead of time. She can “lose” a prepared spell in order to cast any summon nature’s ally spell of the same level or lower.
Animal Companion (Ex): Sahiris has chosen a dire wolf as animal companion. By means of miracle spell and due to her high connection with the natural world, she has given him the greenbound template.
Nature Sense (Ex): Sahiris gains a +2 bonus on Knowledge (nature) and Survival checks.
Wild Empathy (Ex): Sahiris can improve the attitude of an animal. This ability functions just like a Diplomacy check made to improve the attitude of a person. Sahiris has a +24 to this check.
Woodland Stride (Ex): Sahiris may move through any sort of undergrowth (such as natural thorns, briars, overgrown areas, and similar terrain) at her normal speed and without taking damage or suffering any other impairment. However, thorns, briars, and overgrown areas that have been magically manipulated to impede motion still affect her.
Trackless Step (Ex): Sahiris leaves no trail in natural surroundings and cannot be tracked. She may choose to leave a trail if so desired.
Resist Nature’s Lure (Ex): Sahiris gains a +4 bonus on saving throws against the spell-like abilities of fey.
Wild Shape (Su): Sahiris has the ability to turn herself into any Tiny to Huge animal, plant or fey and back again five times per day. Instead she can choose to wildshape into a magical beast, an elemental or an outsider from Faerie plane (however the last two options cost two use of her wildshape ability).
Planar Attunement (Ex): Sahiris and her animal companion ignore any harmful effect from the plan of Faerie.
Planar Bubble (Su): three times per day, Sahiris can wrap herself a portion of the plane of Faerie.
Planar Self: Sahiris gains a damage reduction of 10/magic and the extraplanar trait. Whenever she is in a manifest zone of Faerie, she gains a +1 bonus to her caster level for all her druid spells.

- Earthquake (1 charge)
- Whirlwind (heightened to 10th level, 1 charge)

After all charges are used up from a staff of nature’s fury, it remains a +5 quarterstaff with no special abilities.

Keep in mind that 3E Eladrin are different from 4E Eladrin--that is, there are different definitions for the same name. It's hard to say, at this point, exactly how the FR setting will be rearranged for the 4E Realms (the FRCG just isn't out yet!), but based on what I read about the Feywild in Worlds and Monsters, that's where the Eladrin will be.

- Are there any known portals to Faerie in the North?

-Yes. There are portals to the Plane of Faerie everywhere.

- Is the Seelie Court a group of influence in the Realms, as the Archdevils or the demons are?

-Do they have influence? In certain circles of Fey, Sylvan creatures, as well as Elves, they do. As much widespread influence as certain Archdevils or Demon Lords? Probably not, but that's your call as DM. My personal opinion is no.

- Will the Eladrin be removed form Arvandor and the Gates of the Moon to Feywild in 4E?

-Probably not. Eladrin have been the traditional servators of the Seldarine since at least 2e. There's no reason they'd suddenly all disappear.

- Are there any resources on the LeShay in the Realms?

Another question: Are the Leshay members of the Seelie Court ? Before reading the article on the Moonshaes, I have never seen any information on Leshay in the Realms.

-The LeShay were created much after the D&D Seelie Court was created. As such, they were not originally affiliated with the Seelie Court. They are Fey creatures, however, so it would make sense that there are LeShay who are servitors of the deities that compose the Seelie Court.
