Is Sildeyuir gone?

Sep 30, 2008 0:14:35 I just read Stardeep, and upon perusing the Aglarond section of the CG, I realized that Sildeyuir was no more... Some portals "open sometimes to a splintered nightmare land of loss."

It would appear that the traitor managed to break free or was freed and that in doing so destroyed both Stardeep and Sildeyuir.

The "splintered nightmare land of loss" could be a demiplane with ravaged parts of Sildeyuir or could be the Shadowfell. Both of those ideas are pure speculation, but the book doesn't equate the nightmarish place with Sildeyuir directly, and if at all it seems only in part.

If I were to speculate based on the thread so far.... Is it about star elves who live in Aglarond who create portals to outer space but then because of the Spellplague end up underwater and become aboleths???????

Eladrin. If they become playable, it's likely they'll end up with a racial feat similar to the Gold/Sun Elf ones.

Never realizing that FR's (High) Elves all had a 'cosmic' theme going.

I'm still waiting for the Planetoid Elves, and the Meteorite Elves, and the Asteroid Elves, and the Pulsar Elves, and the Black Hole Elves (no jokes about Liriel here), etc, etc...

You know... a Dwarf-Star Elf would actually make sense.
