If you had to design Jarlaxle's base of operations in Menzoberranzan what types of encounters and traps would you include?

Also what source material would you make use of?

Grimtooth?   is that grimtooths traps or something?

What do you guys envision his lair to look like?    From what I have read he would have some chambers to entertain high ranking matrons and there might be a few barracks with fighters and rogues.

Do you think his lair would resemble that of a house.  Perhaps like one of the great mounds (spires) of a noble house?

Silversword....

Grimlocks not grimtooth.

the tomb tappers would work too.

His lair as to what it would look like, I'd have to ask which lair as I'm sure he used many lairs

but no, I think he just used caverns and back alley passages through out the city.

Yeah, Grimtooth's traps are an excellnet source for traps! This first one was great, the other ones were all right, and had a few good ones in there, but the first one is the one to get , I think so any way. Some of those traps are maybe a bit much for Jarlaxle, I dont think hes mechanically inclined enough for some them. He'd probably want a trap were it would leave at least one of them alive for questioning.
