I was wondering where, if anywhere, would be a suitable place for kenkus to be found in the Realms. I was thinking Dragon Coast. Any suggestions or comments?

I think they can be found in large numbers in Kara-Tur, and subsequently in the more eastern regions of Fearun like Semphar, Dambrath and Mulhorand.

There are kenku in the Realms. Several noted instances in the Realmslore, but no real specifics on where they reside.

The 3.5e Monster Manual III offers this tidbit:-

"Kenkus inhabit cities across southern Faerûn, with a large but loose guild of thieves and assassins called the Daggertalons based in Zazesspur. Kenku living in the eastern nations of Veldorn and Estagund trace their ancestry even further east, to Kara-Tur."

Read your FR Campaign Guide! They are heavily based in The Beastlands, Durpar, and Estagund. There's quite a bit of info on Kenku in the Realms in the entries for those places in the FRCG. Based on the info there, I'd guess they have agents in most major cities as well. There is speculation on these forums (mainly in Future Releases) that they will be expanded upon in 2010 along with the Shadow Races.

Thanks for those suggestions! Silly me forgot about the CG.

I came up with what I think to be a really cool and fun idea about having them in the Cloak Wood outside of Baldur's Gate instead.

-Any urban area that a thieves' guild can possibly exist, Kenku can possibly exist as well.
