Looking for a Supervillian I saw once

Jul 19, 2008 19:22:46 There is a large creature living in a pool (I think) in the middle of a city that might be underground. It's minions bring it people or brains or something to feed on to enhance its powers. Anyone know what I'm talking about.

I need the book and page number. Thanks!

The Pool Of Radiance also appeared in the computer game series of the same name, as well as the adventure Ruins Of Adventure.

Actually, a great many things around the Realms could probably fit the bill.

Jul 20, 2008 14:19:39 They are part of the 4th addition changes - although that is new material added into the past, so it is backwards-compatible with a 3e campaign. So far, the only info about that would be in the novel Stardeep, but I'm not sure how much detail was given on the group (they've been 'away' on Abeir for the past 30,000 years or so).

However, Aboleths ARE Realms canon, and there are plenty of smaller groups of them all around Faerûn in the Underdark (I believe there is at least one operating in the vicinity of Skulllport). There was also another one (group?) mentioned in the WotSQ series, but I can't recall the details.

-None of which changes the fact that 'Rich Baker must be stopped' is the quote. You can't arbitrarily change quotes. That Chris Perkins in in charge of the design team is old news we already know.
