My character is half-Eladrin but is sort of turning into some sort of fairy thing. To reflect this she's gone from being Human stats-wise to Eladrin and will be taking the Avangion Epic Destiny as it's the closest thing to actually becoming a fey-like creature.

I want her to be her own kind of unique thing, as she's effectively a mutation and archfey seem to be as such anyway, but I still want her to draw a bit on something existing. Maybe a winged Nymph or the like?

I'm generally interested in where Fairies/the Fae come from. I know elves were created were by Correlon(supposedly) but what about the rest?

Oberon, Titania, Skerrit, Shiallia, Lurue, and probably a few more divine (term used loosely, and within the context of the Realms) all had deep ties to the Fae.  Really though, it depends on which version of the Fae you're interested in, from the 'more ancient than you can imagine' version, to the 'tithes to hell' version, a lot of that depends on how your DM defines and thinks of them.  Personally, I abhor the tithe to hell aspect of the lore and pretty much dismiss it as christian propaganda to justify the "everything being evil if it didn't fit our worldview" mentality they had (and have, really) going on, but if that works for you, then go for it.

I kinda dislike it too. Though the archfey my character is descended from is part succubus, there are kinda circumstances for that, not so much an unseelie thing.

How common are unique "Fairies"? A lot of feywild monsters seem pretty classified but then you have everything from tallking unicorns to sentient trees. So it's a little tough to see how far it goes.
