Ok, I haven't paid attention to FR products for the past 8 years.

I assume WoTC has written something covering Dupar during 3.x's run.

So what book would I be looking for?

The Shining South detailed it a bit, along with the rest of the Golden Water. The name should at least be familiar presuming you have the 2e version.

If Shining South is a 2e suppliment I don't have it.
If it's a 3.x suppliment I certainly don't have it.

Either way it's a place to start, so thanks.

Might have been 1e thinking about it... don't recall offhand, and damned if I can remember where I put the file to look it up. Should be available as a .pdf at several sites though if you maybe want to compare the two, though they were pretty similar as I recall, with the earlier version being a bit more... personable, I thought. Good luck either way though.

The novel Darkvision partly takes place in Durpar, and the novel Neversfall has Durpari characters in it.

It's both. ;) There was a Shining South in 2e, and one in 3e. They covered the same regions, in more or less detail (3e had more about the Shaar, but trimmed the other regions lorewise).

Actually, it's FR16 The Shining South. Tom Reid's 3e tome is simply titled Shining South. There is a *slight* difference. :P

Used to, but I lost the .pdf somewhere among a stack of CDs and DVDs... presuming I still have it at all.

Oh yes, and :P @ Old Sage. ;)
