I'm looking for the source materials where these locations are described, any help would be welcome. I've already checked the FR Source Index with no success on these two entries. Somewhere it was commented that they are from a FR novel, but which one?
Stagdown Manse (Sea Ward Villa)
Huulfor Manor (Trades Ward Business)
I take it you've looked in all the Waterdeep sourcebooks?Similarly, Huulfor Manor is a unique three story business establishment located in Trades Ward at T47 (page 101 CoS:W) hard along the southern wall of the City of the Dead on Wall Way near Quill Alley and Gaustus Street.
It can be found approximately between The House of Cleanliness (Headquarters for the Launderers’ Guild) and the Old Guildhall (headquarters for the Cellarers and Plumbers Guild).
Note Huulfor Manor and Stagdown Manse are both found in CoS:W, but neither is listed in Volo’s Guide to Waterdeep or the massive 2E FR City System Sourcebook/Map set of Waterdeep (to the extent that I searched for both in each of those sourcebooks).
Perhaps their inclusion in the newest tome is an indicator that they were introduced in a novel after the two older products were released?
That said, I dimly recall Stagdown Manse mentioned in a recent novel.....can’t recall if it was a hideout or destination for the Gemcloaks or not. But I think that’s why I picked it for my own campaign.
Speaking of which....
In my campaign: I can say with pride that the Stadgown Manse was the location my players picked from an offering of three such properties put forth by the Order of Magists and Protectors in exchange for a trove of magical treasures (including two Epic Magic Items) the players recovered in battle with a Tarrasque.
The drow Bard/Dervish in the group had the place spiffed up and made no secret of the fact she wanted to throw a celebration for all in the city who supported the efforts of her and her fellow adventurers (the PCs had made enemies as well as allies in their time at Waterdeep).
During the celebration she intended to attempt Song Magic.
I one upped the player and shocked him to silence when he learned in game that that the Queen of All Elves intended to make an appearance at his character’s party, to see whether it was true that a drow might know such old magic.
Roleplaying that was a blast.

Aren't these mentioned in City of Splendors (I mean the novel; although the 3.5 sourcebook shows their location), and owned by Jalanvaloss, "The Wyrm of Many Spells"? It's been a while since I've read it.

That's exactly right! She owns Stagdown, Firesong Villa and so on (see Dragons of Faerûn, page 24).
