I wanted to open this thread for some brainstorming how an invasion of Fearunian armies into Learakond would work. What beachheads are likely to serve as a good starting point? What gods are likely to support such a crusade.

I was thinking of a collaboration of Tempus, Torm and Bahamut issueing a liberation of the dragonborn, humans and others under the rule of the dragonlords. The dieties reacted in responce to missionaries stories of unrest and injustice on the continent of Lost Abeir. Little do the invaders know as this abeiran conflict is manipulated by a primordial lord, who plans to escape to fearun during the chaos.

-Hmm...Here's a few reactions I thought of off the top of my head, some humorous, some serious:

Bahamut: It's a new place to sway Draconic individuals against Tiamat, before she turns them to evil.
Tiamat: It's a new place to sway Draconic individuals against Bahamut, before he turns them to good.

Bane: It's a new place to seize control of.

Chauntea: Ouch. Apparently, I just grew a tumor, or something. I'd better go get that checked out.

Cyric: [Steve Urkel Impression] Did I do that?

Helm: You know...We just finished subjugating Maztica... [Sigh] Boys, time to subjugate another foreign continent...
Hoar: Poetic justice in motion, Helm...

Kelemvor: Hmm...But I had plans for a hot date with the Raven Queen... [Ponders] Looks like you just got some overtime, Jergal. Better start hitting the books- you don't want these new records to get messed up already.
Jergal: [Sigh] Yes master...

Sharess: Dragonborn are born how? Whoa! Never seen something like that before. I'll have to try that, when I get home...

Shaundakul: A new place to explore! Hurray!

Talos: I don't know what's going on, but some crazy is going down there tonight!

Waukeen: Cha-Ching!

I think for an invasion motive I like Talos's reaction best.

It can imagine Talosian battle crusaders striking a deal with Umberlee pirates and set sail for Laerakond to mess things up by having a Lightnig D-Day invasion, using raiding tactics enhanced with destructive battlemagic. Than quickly flee again when the tide turns. It might actually be the Kingdom of Many Arrows who turns out to be the main suppliers of eager orc pirates.

This would surve a primordial of chaos and strife readily. Especially if the Talosians are succesful they will likely come back for more worship enhancing activities.

I've talked to Bejebuz and He says He supports the invasion.

Taco's and Burrito's must not be denied to the small folk of Abeir, dammit!!

I always thought Bejebez acted more like a Primordial of Hunger; his role is more likely to be set free during Invasion Abeir: Lightning D-Day. ;)

I think I feel his influence right now! *grabs a tuna sandwich*

-Those aren't reactions to an invasion, per se, as much reactions to the continent's sudden appearance.

Nonsense. *puts the sandwich down just in case*

Any modules that describe an naval invasion like campaign?

How much would fearunian shipwrighting have advanced in the last century? Have the ships gotten bigger, faster or better? This could potentially make the Abeiran continent relatively closer for the seafaring nations of Fearun.

Oh, Its not the Abeirans that are aggressively invading Talos's playgrounds and him going all angry, no no. I got that. It's just the news of Abeir appearing and Talos decides he needs the appeasement of these new people, by breaking their property off course.

Its even likely all the Gods of Fury suddenly detect the new playgrounds as easy domains to gain appeasement. By sending catastrophes as lightning storms, tidalfloods and snowstorms new people will fear the elements and empower respectively Talos/Gruumsh, Umberlee and Auril.

-Greater than likely, though I can't think of the word. That's what they "feed off of" (not literally, though in a way...): fear mongering and all that.

Bejebuz. That was...well, it actually wasn't funny at all.
