Feb 16, 2011 14:20:27 4.0 cant come to terms with the leap in the timeline, 20 years running the same character filling in the bordem of work running storylines in my head it always seemed a way to destress myself and the day passed quickly but since the jump in the timeline cant seem to hold on to any storyline it slips from my grasp so stress is increasing and doctor gave me pills for my bloodpressure its wierd i just thought it was a game but i guess even games can become an important part of your everyday life and you can get attached to the characters u create like small exstentions of yourself so as technically my character would be dead 104 years later something has died in me

Feb 16, 2011 15:13:09 I suggest seeing a licensed psychologist. That might be a good first step. This isn't intended to sound snarky, I'm very serious.

Feb 16, 2011 23:48:30 Your best bet is to just ignore it. If you like 4E rules but hate the timeline then keep it in 1375 DR. The one thing I've leared is to make Canon work for you, not work to adhere to Canon. If your character is active, alive, and doing well in 1375, 1371, 1244 DR then keep on doing what your doing.

Feb 28, 2011 20:49:04 I have the feeling that you are trolling. Forgive me if I'm wrong. The first pages of the FR Campaign guide state that you can play on all kinds of ages and even gives you tips to explain the presence of a 1370ish character appearing on the present timeline.

Mar 05, 2011 22:50:00 And here I thought we eliminated the trolls from this place *ah well*. Though I'd have to reiterate the point that nothing is stopping anyone from using 4E mechanics in any timeline FR has to offer. The weave easily supports the alternative vancian system that is 4E.
