| #4JohnLynchJan 04, 2011 17:11:28 | Thanks Brian. I realise my post wasn't exactly the clearest. I quickly wrote it on the iPad before I had to go. I wanted to know what that map was exactly because I wanted to know what Abeir probably looked like. I'm thinking of running a campaign on Returned Abeir, and so I want to get a clear understanding of what Abeir would be like so I can appropriately fluff it (I won't be telling the PCs that the campaign is set in Toril, but will instead be telling them its set in Laerakond. I'll be writing up a "Player's Guide to Laerakrond" so they can make appropriately themed natives). Incidently, that means either Laerakrond existed at the time of Merrouroboros, or part of Merrouroboros split apart sometime in the past and travelled across Abeir to its current position. If it co-existed with Merrouroboros before the Abeir-Toril split then it must have been either moved or smashed to pieces when Maztica travelled across to its present location. |

Although after a bit more reading I discovered an "unknown continent to the west" co-existed with Merrouroboros due to the fact that Merrouroboros wasn't sundered until -17,600 DR while couatl inhabited "an unknown continent to the west" in -24,000 DR. |
