| #1GwathirSep 28, 2012 7:54:11 | I just purchased a copy of Menzoberranzan (City of Intrigue) and although I thought it was a great supplement, I was surprised (dissapointed) that it didn't include the House traits for all of the top 18-20 houses, instead only some were provided. So basically, it forces you to use the 2nd Edition box set anyways. @ WOTC: Do you plan to release the House traits (power, might, wealth, favor, description etc.) for all the other notable houses in some form of 'web enhancement'? @ D&D Community: Has anyone gone through and converted them all from 2nd edition? |

I havnt picked up this book (yet) so In not sure what sort of game mechanics are involved with being a member of a certain house over another, perhaps if someone was to inform of the way they handle the various houses in 4e terms i might be able to help out, or wait till I pick up the book, it might be awhile though, rents coming up, stupid rent! |

Something to remember, is that the houses are going to have changed considerably after over 100 years of drow treachery and strife. I think they weren't all fleshed out to likely give DMs the flexibility to do what they wanted with the houses. As it was, the book kicked my current character straight in the jimmy considering he's from one of the houses that is fairly well detailed...and obviously not part of the description ;) |
