[indent]The Feywild is understood by few denizens of the world, and visited only by those with knowledge of the plane and the will to make the dangerous journey. But to the eladrin, the Feywild is home. And Mithrendain is one of the last bastions of light in a Feywild that is proving increasingly hostile to the eladrin and their allies. Visit this citadel of the eladrin, and learn some of their coveted fighting techniques in this article.[/indent]
[indent]Deep in the Feywild, beyond the swirling residuum storms of the Plains of Valdrennai, stands one of the most magnificent cities ever constructed by the eladrin: Mithrendain. The city’s name is derived from the elf phrase “wall of the fortress,” but the word has become synonymous with the beauty and longevity of the eladrin. Home to nearly 40,000 people, almost all of them eladrin, Mithrendain is a beautiful city resplendent with soaring towers and graceful architecture. In addition to its proper name, Mithrendain is often referred to as the Autumn City, since most of its towers are colored like autumn leaves, with yellow, gold, and bronze being common.[/indent]

Granted, I haven't read through the thing yet, but it looks like its made to just be dropped easily into any setting.
Across the Sea of Swords, the Moonshaes have fallen into a patchwork of small kingdoms. The Feywild, the realm of Faerie, lies close to Faerûn here, and from its shadows a dire new threat is gathering—the terrible fomorians, who dream of sweeping away the human kingdoms and subjugating the islands beneath their mighty fists.
If one were planning a campaign in the Moonshaes Isles, seeking Eladrin help against Fomorian invaders might be good, getting them to trust you is a first step. I can't remember where I read it, but there is a blocked off cavern that has access to the Underdark somewhere in the Moonshaes.

Since the Feywild has now moved closer to Toril (again?), and links between the two are fairly common in 4e, I don't see why this couldn't just be used as-is.

Anyway, I really liked this article--gave me some ideas. Let's see if I ever get to use them.
Mithrendain becomes Myth Rendain. There is no word for 'Fall' or 'Autumn' in Faerûnian Elven that we are aware of.
Mithrendain is actually Myth Adofhaer. It went to the Plane of Faerie, when it was shunted away from the Material Plane.

I like the core articles more than the FR ones.

Quick, and connected to Realmslore, I like it. But I think it would be better if it was a totally new location (Myth Rendain like you said) with a background that ties to existing lore.
The articles keep getting better (at least for core, and even for FR now that the Chult excerpt is posted up), hopefully it continues to progress in that way.

-Note the difference: This is a DRAGON article, not a preview of the FRCG or the FRPG. The Cormyr article, that mostly everyone loved, was a DRAGON article, as well. I am thinking, the good articles are going to be coming from DRAGON, or DDI.
