#1 the_mad_prophet Mar 17, 2008 1:32:41	During the Crown Wars, the leader of Shantel Othreir, Coronal Ynloeth is said to have died mysteriously(Grand History of the Realms, page 15, -10600 DR) I was curious as to what happened, I attributed it to an assassin from Aryvandaar.....

There's lots of older threads that are in the Forgotten Realms: Realmslore section that don't belong, because the Forgotten Realms: General Discussion and Forgotten Realms: Running the Realms sections did not yet exist. I posted in this one because I noticed I hadn't.

Too many mysteries were solved in a predictable way (think Aravae Irithyl ;) ) -Agreed. I mean, this is something that took place in the ancient past anyway. With no future D&D sourcebooks for the Forgotten Realms, and only one current WotC-affiliated author who I'd trust with ancient Elven history (Steve Schend), I don't see this ever begin resolved. Which, yeah, is mostly a good thing.
