Well im trying to make an adventure that takes place in the glass ruins in farsea marshes in Cormyr.

To get there they have to fight swamp monsters and have something that counters all plauges and pestilences. If the mobs are smart they might have items from the ruins, but i dont know what

In the ruins they can meet glass constucts, beams of light and hypnotic patterns and so on.

Now do you all have anything that can help me? Like monsters, items, rewards, clever traps and the like so its not just to kill everything but they have to use the brains too....

The party as of now is:
Human male monk/shadowdancer
Human male scout
Half elf female druid
Elf female wizard/sorcerer/ultimate magus
and if we dont get more players i play two dwarf brothers
one a fighter/dwarfen defender and the other an cleric/runecaster

I want alot, but every little thing helps

Thanks all and be well

-What, specifically do you want help with?

-For monsters, there could be some Bullywug in the swamps. I like Bullywug. Perhaps they were attracted to the tower, and are in the tower as well.

I was thumbing through the MM 3, and there are alot of things there that can help you. For example, Dracotaur (CR 3, or 3+ with class lvls), drowned (CR 8), Night Twist (CR 12), Plague Brush (CR 17), Plague Spewer (CR 10), Ssvaklor (CR 10), Susurrus (CR 7, looks like headless humanoid covered in glass shards), Swamp Strider Swarm (CR 5), Troll, Crystalline (CR 7, though found in temperate mountains), Troll, Forest (CR 4). Most of these creatures are found in temperate to warm marshes and could be found in the area.
Also, look in Unapproachable East. There is a prestige class called the Talontar Blightlord and a creature template called blightspawned that all deal with pestilence and plagues.

As for treasue, I've always found the DMG roll% tables easy enough. But you could check other FR specific sources for more unique items such as the Cormyrian Goblinthrasher (+1 goblinoid bane longsword) or Cormyrian Greatshield (+1 arrow deflection heavy steel shield) for items more popular in that region.

Ssvaklor? Are there any yuan-ti anywhere near that swamp?

Put goblins, orcs and humans in there! Savage beasts!

And Diffan, you REALLY need to shorten your sig=D

According to Elminster's Ecologies:

Several tribes of bullywugs live in the Farsea Marshes. Which is good, because LK likes them.

The Marsh Drovers are there, of course, and, depending on the actions of the players could represent a threat. They have indeed domesticated the catoblepas, which gives them both "Death Cheese" and a nice guard system.

There are also a small number of trolls and a growing number of undead.

Pick up a copy of Elminster's Ecologies for fairly complete coverage.

Thx for the idees.

I wounder if you all have anything they can meet in the ruins the is of the ruins. Like glass constructs or mobs that is hard to see cuz they bend the light.
They dont have to be FR only or with an glass twist

And they might find glass weapons and armour. I have a few like a cloak with +hide and a shield that reflect spell or something.

give me lots of idees good or bad, all is helpfull

Thanks all and be well

-That is good. And, to get a little wacky, you can throw in the Undead there, and have Undead Bullywugs!
