| #1leodiomasMay 18, 2009 20:41:33 | I have found that it is rather difficult to find pre-made adventures for evil characters in Faerun. So, I'm looking for any help, whether it be pre-made or good ideas. |

| #3ArtifactMay 18, 2009 23:23:49 | Check out Champions of Ruin. Its sort of like the Book of Vile Darkness but focusing on the Realms. Plenty of evil organizations and evil places are described, enemies and allies, even champions of evil. Should be good for an idea (or two) ;). |

It may give you some ideas. 1st lvl adventure: PC's are contacted by mysterious figure who tells them that if they can prove their ability by breaking into a manor and killing the occupants, he will have a real mission for them. They do (altho, oddly enough the manor is full of evil guys as well), and he does. 2nd lvl: Mysterious stranger accompanies them on mission to steal 'artifact' from local gov't figure (also evil). Mysterious stranger teleports away leaving them holding the bag. 3rd lvl: PC's must escape from prison. 4th lvl: Evil organization (in my game, the Cult of the Dragon) contacts newly escaped PCs and reveals that Mysterious Stranger was a Harper who set them up. Would they like a chance for revenge? Just raid this village for us. Keep whatever you find. 5th -9th lvl: PC's undertake various missions against good and evil enemies of the Cult, meanwhile getting more clues to the location/identity of Mysterious Stranger. 10th: Showdown with M.S. 11th: PCs sent on suicide mission which results in falling out with CoD. 12-13th: PCs battle CoD for control of area. 14+: PCs attempt to start own empire. Ended with destruction of huge swath of territority and with PCs fleeing the realms and into an extraplanar campaign. Good times, good times. I did a pirate campaign, as well, with much success. The key to running an evil campaign (even more so than a 'good' one) is to give the PCs a little direction at the beginning, otherwise they just run around killing townsfolk, commiting totally random acts of evil and getting killed. And blaming you for 'making' it happen. Overarching theme: Stupid and Evil gets squashed. Smart and Evil gets the girl. And the money. And the throne. MrJake |

| #7mynameisjakeMay 23, 2009 21:54:05 | this will help me out alot. thank you Since I am egotistical enough to assume you were talking only to me.... YOU ARE WELCOME!!!!!!! Good luck on the campaign. Oh, and remember, the biggest threat to evil PCs are not good NPCs, but the ruthlessness of Evil NPCs. The Church of Pelor honors its deals, both the letter and the intent. The Genocide Knives Assassin's Guild? Not so much. Nightseer: That is sig worthy. May Lady Shar Bless you. Yours in darkness. MrJake |
